Maybe I shouldn't have rejoined you all. It seems when I am on here things go wrong. You have had to put up with lots of dramas in our household over the years. I come back and have another immediately! :D

Thank you for all the queries. She is doing better now but had febrile convulsions whilst being looked after for the first time by her other Gparents. They feel terrible but it wasn't their fault at all just really bad timing.

Today I have been doing a bit of catch up in living room.

ETA I have just heard she is home. they haven't found the cause yet but bloods weren't quite right so they have swabbed her throat. Babes can give us frights and recover quickly.

New tyres put on the little car, new paint roller holder bought, WM2 just finished.

    DS2 hoovered downstairs
    Shower room finished.

Just having a cuppa then I plan an hour in the garden cutting back some stuff and DS3 can help even with his sourface.

I've got my niece here playing with DD. We were supposed to be going to the park but as its chucking it down with rain they're currently playing in DD's bedroom. We're going to have sausage and chips from the chippy for tea as we made cheese salad wraps for lunch instead of going to the bakery for sausage rolls & cake!

I'm trying to organise a BIG grocery delivery for tomorrow. I'm hoping to get lots of fresh fruit / salad stuff instead of crisps & biscuits to snack on and some bottled water in so we're sorted for days out ;) Might order some snacky stuff and stash it though so we can have some treats.

Flying wise, I've washed the sofa cover after noticing DD had spilt blackcurrent juice down it and I'm going to wash up, and put another wash load on. I may tackle a few other flying jobs while the kids are upstairs and entertained ;) Off to the kitchen once I've found my list to work from. I'll update it next time I post

Is there a way to follow the thread, so you get updates via email?

I am interested in trying this for at least a week or two - but I cannot check the forums on my phone very easily, but I'm already in the habit of checking my email each morning - so to have an email sent on update would be great. I couldn't see a 'subscribe' option tho :/

Afraid not; what happpens is whoever is running the thread for the week edits post 1 and adds a new list, so there isn't an email update as such. I beleive the US flylady site might - but they don't run like we do.

Just about to go and get tea..in the teaming down rain...good job the chippy is only the corner of the road! Its "bally-ann" day here (nothing remotely inspiring in the cupboards to make a meal aka the day before the 'big shop') so I don't mind. ;) Kids are tidying up the bedroom so they'll be okay for the 5 min max it'll take me to go there and back. ;)

I decided to do some flying in the kitchen and it looks much better out there now. Even wrote a menu plan for the remainder of the week :D Can't do much more cleaning as I've run out of clean cleaning cloths. Will throw them in to wash when the towels have finished...they finally made it in after 4 days! :o

    Personal:
    Sort work orders
    Clear ironing pile

    Living room
    30 minutes? as above plus-
    • wipe switches, sockets and sticky door marks
    • vacuum properly - move that furniture if you safely can
    • lift sofa and chair cushions and vacuum under them
    1hour? as above plus -
    • as above plus complete dusting - don't forget the skirting boards! - need to wet wipe the skirting board and dust the TV unit which is why this is still here!
    • Clean the windows
    EXTRA SPECIAL
    • Sort out cards for November and December - we're sorted until the end of September, then nothing until November when we have twins, ex's sister, and my dad. At least they're the ones I'm responsible for organising ;) Going to leave them until closer to the time so I can also add some Christmas cards into the mix ;)
    Kitchen Klean-up
    15 minutes?

    • mop
    30 minutes? as above plus-
    • wipe the microwave [STRIKE]outside [/STRIKE]- put half a lemon, or some lemon juice in water inside, let it run for two minutes then leave the steam to soften gunk, wipe it out
    1hour? as above plus -
    • make sure every horizontal surface has had a wipe
    • make sure your TD filter is lint-free - DD's job - she loves doing this :rotfl:
    EXTRAS
    • Empty out ONE cupboard or drawer, wipe it out and put back only what is STILL useful once it's dry
And finally - don't forget your frog list - EAT A WHOLE FROG today!

    bathroom
    15 minutes?
    • flush the loo and scrub it
    • wipe the outside of the loo with a cloth
    30 minutes? as above plus-
    • clean the bath
    • clean the loo roll holder
    1hour? as above plus -
    • wipe or dust all high horizontal surfaces - door tops
    • clean the basin
    • Clean the windows
    • Mop the floor
    EXTRA SPECIAL
    • If you leave creams, potions and lotions open to the air they WILL deteriorate much more quickly. Make sure all tops are screwed on after every use. Check the use withins - and chuck out those dust-gathering body scrubs etc that you don't use!
I best shift myself. Hoping if I time it right there'll be a lull in the rain or I'll just take my big embarrassing-DD purple golf brolly ;)

DW unloaded for the second time and the dirty stuff put in
dinner cooking for the 3 children I still have .. I feel all naked!
2 loads of washing on the line, in the rain, I don't think th ebed sheet will be dry for Dots bed tonight!
Girls bedding stripped seeing as they are away.. I'll demand DS3 does his tomorrow.

Border sewn on 3 sides of the blanket.. I need to knit a fair chunk more to finish the 4th side.. but it should be done tomorrow hopefully!

Off on a rant.. feel free to skip to the next post!

The outlaws have gone.. if she'd have asked one more question about the pregnancy/baby I might have screamed.. by tomorrow I had already had 7 of lot so no of course I don't know when this thing will arrive but if it isn't soon I may consider stuffing my hand in and dragging the little parasite out because I am totally fed up of being unable to sleep/walk/move/eat and I would actually like to do something during the summer holidays rather than sit in my chair moaning about lack of ability to do all of the above. I can't even get in the car to be driven anywhere now..

Why is it always the summer holidays? Why could we not have a May/June baby instead? At least I'd be operational by now!

And so rude... bringing sandwiches and flasks of coffee and a bottle of juice!!! Why not just say my coffee/water/bread is not good enough!!??

I'm going to pull up some bindweed in the garden ... just to feed the pain and disperse the growls hopefully.

And... I de-flea'd an orange cat cos it was lopping and has a flea allergy so I thought I best not risk her getting scabby... 5 more to do!
