well done to everyone whos achieved so much today
skint glad your LOs werent hurt. some people should not be allowed to drive, im glad there were witnesses! someone did that to the the heads car on poling day at the school i work at, they were seen and a teacher ran out but they just drove off, police got them. aparently if they wait 24 hours and the crime/incidednt isnt reported they get double doen for leaving scene of an accident and not reporting it.
i madde roman blinds years ago from a book in the library, they are straight forward
sorry cant remember who else said what, so hugs if you need them.
feel like all ive done today apart from the bathroom is walk up and down stairs with armfuls of dvds! but it does look tidier now. just wish DH woprk mates would drop by when its actually clean and tidy for a change instead of midway through a wrecking spree!!
off to dish up teaSPC~12 ot 124

:(Losing the will to complete decorating:(:(:(
Having a coffee before last push then it's bed and bath time. Or other way around even!
Manic Monday
family room - Clean the windows
Everything's Tuesday
wipe all the cupboard doors and drawers - don't forget the handles
wipe the microwave outside
wipe the washer door seal
Empty out ONE cupboard or drawer, wipe it out and put back only what is STILL useful once it's dry
Start that CHRISTMAS shopping - list all the non-perishables you want to buy (eg cranberry jelly; cocktail cherries for the snowballs - I am channelling the 70s - check today's music!) and EITHER buy one item a week/fortnight OR have the list to hand ready for if you see a bargain!
OR
Plan for a day off sometime during the school hols or one weekend - so; check your meal plan and find ONE dish you can double up on - so that you can make two and freeze one! Check you have enough ingredients - this NEED NOT be done today - make it fit with your meal plan! This will be the meal you DON'T cook on your day off!
And finally - don't forget your frog list - EAT A WHOLE FROG today!
Wednesday
Beautiful bathing will be yours - bathrooms and cloakrooms
15 minutes?
open window to let in fresh air
remove anything that belongs elsewhere to be rehomed
flush the loo and scrub it
wipe the outside of the loo with a cloth
30 minutes? as above plus-
clean the bath
hot water and detergent and a wipe (not with the toilet cloth, please!) to shift shower screen soap scum
clean the loo roll holder - remember people might have 'less than clean' hands when they're wrestling with the paper...
1hour? as above plus -
wipe or dust all high horizontal surfaces - door tops and screens
clean the basin
Clean the windows
Mop the floor
EXTRAS
chrome shower rails can be polished when they're off
Put out fluffy towels
EXTRA SPECIAL
If you leave creams, potions and lotions open to the air they WILL deteriorate much more quickly. Make sure all tops are screwed on after every use. Check the use withins - and chuck out those dust-gathering body scrubs etc that you don't use!
Add anything that's running out to the shopping list - don't forget the loo roll!
If your bin's been emptied why not fling the water from the mop bucket in the bin and 'agitate' it to loosen dirt, leave it upside - down to dry - a fragrant bin puts those bluebottles - and their maggotty 'offspring' off!
THURSDAY
get a cloth, and some hot water and wash down the door
clean any glass
find a long duster and claen the radiators
Thanks Valli, Did most of this one on Monday already and seeing as the kids are at grandma's it's stayed ok too!

Welcome. A frog list is those jobs that you put off almost forever. The idea is that if you get one of these jobs out of way first (eating a frog) nothing else can be as bad for rest of the day, or something like that. I'm sure another flylady will put up a link which explains it better.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Welcome Morgan  eating a frog is completing a very unpleasant task that has often been put off for a long time......however unpalatable that task is, once it is out of the way nothing else seems quite so bad
What constitutes a frog varies from person to person....you will know frog when you see it!The cold never bothered me anyway0
