Poohbear – glad your LO getting there

Tarotangel – I think I will make jam or vodka!

Pigpen - stop moaning! Should have kept your legs crossed;)
Are they the sort of people to bring those things to save you time and effort or are they just weird?

My ensuite is very very green! It's called mellow sage but I think will think I'm inside a pea pod! DH likes it though so maybe I'm just sick of looking at it.
The bedroom looks nice but I need to put one more coat on but it's not dry as weather is so damp so I'm having a well-earned rest! Don't you dare suggest house work Valli, I've not stopped all day and my back is killing!

Has anyone ever made roman blinds before? I've had to take ours down and they are looking tatty. I thought about copying the sizing but am not sure how to fix the lining. Got some curtain material I could use from a pair of curtains that used to hang in our bedroom at the previous house so would be very:money:

Please keep at me! Gardening atm and cooking dinner but once the sun is down.
I've eaten a very unpleasant Frog - tackled the sewing task on some table mats that I've been carefully ignoring for a couple of months. It hurt my fingers (which is why I've been putting it off) but it's done now - hooray!

Mr LW will be in shortly, so I need to go and nuke us some dins (l/o lasagne from yesterday)

Dusty I probably won't be online tomorrow, (Mr LW is on leave, as it's Lughnassadh and we'll be ....er... "busy") but I hope you'll have done your froggy paperwork by Friday.:o

Gotta go, I hear the car pulling into the carport.:T

    Evening

    Frog leftovers completed as follows:

School dinner letter posted in...saved price of stamp as car already out and about clearing froggy leftovers

DD1 and CV taken in for summer job - some very good luck vibes needed on this one, as need her out from underfoot

    Nasty ESA letter posted

    Cheques banked without incident

Then a quick visit to Morribunds for a loaf of bread and a sandwich for DD1 who was "starving" resulted in the birth of a full grown frog.....completely missing the tadpole stage

Some %&*$-wit decided that instead of looking and driving they would just shut their eyes and reverse into my parked car with DD1, DS and DD3 safely seatbelted in it......and Mrs %&*$-wit in the passenger seat also decided it would be a good idea to shut their eyes and pretend like nothing had happened.

I was in Morribunds for all of 2 minutes on the phone asking DD2 if she wanted some veggie Sushi brought back when DD1 was ringing asking me to get back to the car.

Fortunately DD1 and a Morribunds employee got the reg number as shouting after Mr and Mrs %&*$-wit did no good , and I have got a crime reference from Bill. The Morribunds manager has been informed and has been told his employee needs to go make a statement at the station. Now have to go down with DD1 to produce my documents.....thankfully no-one appears to be injured, there is paint on my bumper but that's not to say there isn't damage that cannot be seen on the outside.

Flying is limited to Daisy mode, toast and sandwiches for the rest of the day.....and start again tomorrow.

PS if anyone wants to swap lives with me, please form an orderly queue :rotfl:
The cold never bothered me anyway

    :wave:Welcome back, Narco
Love the frog choruses, Skinty and Valli :rotfl:
Hope your DGD is fully recovered, poohbear.
Well done to your DH for sheer determination to get a job, GI :T

My DH :A is painting the new kitchen. You see, Honey Bear, I do encourage him to come out of the garage occasionally - especially when there's work to be done! :D I would go and help him, but I'm fending off phone calls from Severn Trent Water and dealing with the plumber and notifying banks that we have moved, as well as making :coffee: for the tiler and plasterer today. Bare walls in the dining room and downstairs bedroom will soon be a thing of the past, and after that there's the bathroom to board and just skimming everywhere else. Also I'm still resting my right shoulder as per physio's instructions (it is slowly getting better :))

I started writing this at 11.30 and got waylaid... :o Going out now to visit new friends from church so will have to catch up with Fred later.
