I have foolishly moaned to Dh that we don't do anything together and he is now getting the Monopoly board out. I hate Monopoly - help me!
Oops.. my only advice is to either win and be such a pain in the *rse about it that he never wants to play again, or lose and be such a bad loser that he never wants to play again.

Yes, of course, that's what I thought you meant. Best not to throw the pieces though, that top hat could cause a nasty bruise!

Hi everyone
Sorry for not posting for ages. I have still been jogging though - 2 to 3 times per week. I did a 5k race for life at the weekend in 35 minutes. I was really pleased with the time as it was 8 minutes faster than the one I did in June. I need your help now though please.
A friend wants me to run a 10k in 6 weeks time. Does that give me enough time to build up to that distance as I've never run further than 5k before? If it does suggested training plans gratefully received!
Will my Hitec running series trainers be good enough for this distance? They didnt cost much but were in the sale but I have no idea if they are good enough.
And something slightly less important - I want one of those armband thingys that hold an ipod, phone, keys etc but what are they called - I cant very well searhc for 'armband thingy' on ebay!Debt at lightbulb moment (Dec 06) £60,502
Debt Jan 11 £18010

Hiya Kazl!!!
Good to hear things are going well. Re the armband thingy, have a look on nikes website, i know they have some and may give you the name to look on ebay for. Or put "ipod cases" into the apple site and will come up with some on there.
Re the running, the trainers should be fine. You have plenty of time if you are running a 5k comfortably to up this to 10, Just remember that if it is hilly to put in some hill training as i have been well caught out this way before! (port lympne zoo 10k anyone?) Take it steady adn gradually increase your distance by say half mile each time you get comfortable at the distance you are doing. Give yourself lots of rest and you'll get round it no problem.
Good morning everyone else!!! xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
