You said that, not me. I agree with your sentiments entirely though.Have fun oldies
Hmm, if we become veterans around the same time, doesn't that mean you turn old at the same time as me? Ahh but I'm still 6 years younger than you now - so I may be a running veteran about the same time as you, but not a proper one0

In 38 but hobbling like a 90 year old.........if it makes anyone feel better!
Have bought iodine and blister plasters - but have accepted that I have to give my run a miss tonight. I could cycle round the block, or something instead.......presumably that would still be useful in the training plan?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Afternoon all,
iv not been out all weekend, due to having a belly bug, making me feel sick for most of the weekend, felling better now, so iv got a fitness session planned for 3oclock. This should be another bleep test, so will be a good judge on m y fitness after the christmas break and the runs that i did last week.
Hoping to get out in the morning for another 5km hoping to beat my best time but as the weather says its going to be windy in the morning will be intrested to see if the time is so different depending on the weather.Running Club5KM - 25:20(51.21%) 10KM - 53:40(50.26%)1/2 Marathon - 2.14.57(44.20%)Marathon 5:11:00 (40.78%)0 -

You still become a real veteran 5 years younger than a man so you're clutching at straws there!!!:p
And you'll certainly be an infuriating veteran first!;)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
