    Morning...was going to post about an hour ago but thought you lot would be out or still snoozing...how wrong I was. Up at 5:30am for me today 10 miles in the bag although legs very heavy today but not suprised after being lazy for last couple of weeks..ok make that 4 weeks. So this week have done 35.5 miles and the run today was done with pace of 10.04 per mile so considering how lazy I have been I am quite pleased.

    you will be before you know...thats if you want to join the mad club. The only reason I go that early is that I try to get back before my daughter wakes up in the morning. So I was home for 7:15am this morning :eek:

  • Good going Sally - an 8 mile and 10 mile in quick succession plus 35 miles for the week means you have nothing to worry about.

    You can look forward to the next 15 weeks, with that level of performance and committment.

    Onwards and upwards!:D :D

    Hehe I think I'd be avoiding 'little undulations' like that early on in a run, unless of course you have no choice.

    In southerner speak, you just ran up a mountain!:p :p (A hill is a sleeping policeman!:p ).

    But north of the Watford Gap its a little undulation!

  • Hmm, hi guys, well I am planning to go out for my first run for 3 months later today, I have been running on and off (in between injury and basic laziness) for about 9 years now, I'm just planning a 3 mile slow plod today to ease myself back into it, no long term goals as yet just to get running regularly and slowly increase my mileage back to what it was before, wish me luck!

    @Richoneday

    :rotfl: i live in Sheffield at 700 feet above sea level.... so I can not run 10 meters without a hill ( mountain ) being in the way :eek: .

    just looking at some route's on that website my 10mile run on the main roads in a loop has a max height of 833 feet and a low point of 243 feet :rotfl:.

    Still would make the GNR and the LM a walk in the park should i get to that level :D .

    but dont worry shall stick with 2 weeks of 1.5m at first :o

    and good luck milliemonster
