Well done 30! You're braver than me - I cancel mine if I have a cold because I hate running with a snotty nose! :D
  • Thanks Becky, Actually the cold really cleared my nose up (although I can't say the same for my sleeve :) ) while I was running my nose was running faster than me, but it meant I could breath through it for a while :)

30- Great progress. Doesn't it start to feel a lot easier once the weight comes off?:D

    Thanks Rich,
The running doesn't seem to get any easier because I'm increasing the level every week :), but every other aspect of my life is much easier!

And I now have a whole bunch of clothes that I had stopped wearing because they were a little too tight before, and I really liked some of them...so Its working towards being debt free too!

Well done, 30 - that is a significant difference!

No running for me - I am short of breath just sitting at my desk, so no way am I going to try and do anything resembling exercise. I had to get OH to drop me off at work this morning because I couldn't manage the 10 minute walk from the car park! I will have to walk this evening though, as OH is working late, so hopefully the air outside won't be too cold!

Looks like this week might be a write-off for me - good job we have plenty of time left!

Hypno, there is no decision to make in those circumstances - just let your body sort itself out and it will tell you when its ready to train again.

It wouldn't matter if it was 3 weeks to go to the race you are still doing the right thing!

    Hello All,

Although not reported in for almost 2 weeks, have been running/jogging and of course keeping up with all your progresses, well done all:j . Went out today along the river and it was coooold!........but do admire those runners who can still run in shorts/short sleeves with their long sleeves tops around their waist (ladies), me I've got hat, gloves and breathable/lightweight running top:rotfl: .

    Happy running all.

Good to hear if you've been keeping it up through the arctic conditions mm2 - it doesn't help when Poorbabe complains about the heat does it?:p

But well done, it sounds like you're into a nice, enjoyable routine.

    Thanks ROD,

I will not be a 'fair weather runner' :rotfl: Although would swap with Poorbabe for one blast of heat:p
