    Evening All :D

Had a rather hectic weekend and have just got in - phew!

Did a 4 miler on saturday rather than six - but a nice 30 mins so that was good :D

Did my 12 miler today with a new running buddy and managed 1.54 so 1 min faster than my previous pb but not the time I was looking for - it was however very slippy underfoot for the first 3 miles and I ate a rather large cooked breakfast that was not sitting well during the run so all in all I'm pleased - new run chum was annoyingly fast though and he had never run that distance before (oh dont you just hate those people :D)...anyway I've got a few weeks of training to get in before we can run again so may have to work on that!

Well done Rich on your race :D and evab on getting out. Sorry you're not feeling great Hypno - hope you feel better soon!

Sally did you get out in the end (sorry had a brief read may have missed it)...

I'm dying on Poor to come and give us some news - come on bet you did great :D

I am planning on using my run as an excuse to escape for a couple of hours when families and other people's children start to get to me :D

  • Well done on the 12 miles Becky - you have strung a solid run of 10+ mile runs together now so that 'wobbly' one that finished at about 4 miles can be well and truly disregarded.

As for xmas running - its traditional to run on xmas day thats for sure. It creates a bit more turkey room.:p And as has already been said, its a great excuse for escaping from family when the inevitable rows start!

Heat is the killer in long distance events so to get round in 4-44 is an excellent effort!:D
