    HAHAHAHA Hypno thats cruel :D

But anyway he's on my FB group for my fundraising so I've been posting times on there so he knows I'm aiming a little higher than his time - but actually I reckon we will be about the same standard in four weeks time (since I'll still have four months or so of training left) so its a good match!

Still running in central park will be very exciting in itself even if he beats me (and i can blame it on the jet lag :D).

Did you used to watch "Friends"........dig out the "Pheobe goes jogging in Central Park" bit and then you will have a bit of an idea about my running abilities :rotfl:

slow 5.5 miles this morning. Couldn't get pace right 1 min Im too fast then im barely running and legs feel like lead weights. Anyway not going to worry about it came in just over 10 min miles and there were loads of hills and traffic lights and roads...the list goes on!

    Hi Sally,

Getting through the miles when you're feeling like that is hard work so well done you - I find it difficult to pace when I have to slow down/speed up all the time for people, traffic lights etc...but 10 minute miles is a good pace for a slow run.

10 min miles would be a good pace for a "fast run" for some of us :rotfl:

Well, a really gentle (but very muddy) 6.3 at lunch today - not sure the exact time, but think it was over an hour...Again, a very pretty route and some good conversation on the way, so not to be sniffed at.

I love runs like that. Plenty of scenery and a bit of gossip. My kind of running! :D
