I can still feel it in my hips - not painful, just that knowledge that my muscles have worked!
Hopefully this means that my blobby hips are becoming lean and toned.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hips? Hypno LOL
Which got me thinking (ouch it hurts) where do others get their aches and pains that let them know 'they've been working'?
Mine are in the arms and the wrists - often I have to roll them over when dong long runs - which Rich will tell me is because I dont do enough strength work like push ups (ooopss havent done them yet - I'll start today I promise

I expected my leg muscles to ache, but my thighs and calves are (comparably) fine! My hips and "outer buttocks" (if that makes sense!) are the bits that ache!
I used to do a lot of yoga, so I am going to start doing 10 mins of that a day to try and help the aches - certainly can't do me any harm!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Not been online for a few days. Did a 9 mile run on Sunday morning 1:18:24
Would have been better time but had to stop cos Asthma came on for about 5 mins. Never a good time.
Hope I will do a run this lunchtime as off work today.

I normally find certain weak bits of my legs feel it for a couple of days - my left hip, left knee, an old war injury in my back...Also, just general lack of strength in my legs - they just feel like they've been a bit drained...0 -
War injury?

I thought I was being quite upbeat this morning! I managed to resist the "I can almost *see* my toes" line in response to sally....a step forward, I thought
Do carry a couple of injuries - hurt my shoulder doing judo, my knee play wrestling with a housemate at uni, then later collapsing as the foundation of a 4 man piggy back (:D), my back lifting weights in the gym (something went "ping") and so on...Crammed a lot of abuse into my body in a short life

Ouch - I used to do gymnastics as a child and I have less 'injuries' than you :eek:0
