Ooooh, I stay away for a day and look what I've missed! This has turned into a dating site!
I met my OH through running. We used to have a running club at my old workplace and I joined up. I started running and before you know it, there you are after a race with your run club buddies, all high on endorphins, discussing the race, enjoying a well-earned beer and one thing leads to another..... we get married next June.

If i were single, then noone would ever want to date me once they'd seen me running!! unless the bloke had a penchant for beetroots, of course!
No aspect of my running is ever attractive i'm sorry to say, not the runny nose, not the sweatiness, not the puffing, nor the red face... can't think why!!??
Good job i'm not in it to pull a bloke!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Judging by the fact that she's run off - I think she's worried!

That is why I knew he loved me. Because at the end of a race, red-faced, sweaty, splashed with mud, in some seriously dodgy running gear, he still found me attractive! :rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

and more to the point, you loved him even when he took his hat off, so he knew it was mutual!

It is an interesting point considering there are probably five times as many men as women in most running environments, women should find it a fruitful hunting ground!
As for men, I think we should join a gymnastics club or ballet dancing or something to be in a similar advantageous position.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I've looked into this. The gym yoga class doesn't allow spectators though!0 -
