    Morning all,

    Did a 7.2 mile last night - 59:03

Could not get any time for running on the weekend so went last night. Do a 2.4 mile route from my house as all lit up and can run on pavement and felt good so did 3 laps.

    Have a good day all.

    Well there you go!

What a leap forward that is - proof again that doing the groundwork (walking) builds the strength more effectively than any other method.

    Well Done!

    Morning All!

In a very good mood today :) (um whats new but hey),

One because Rich is making me feel young (tee hee) and two because I ran my scary hill run today in 40 minutes!!!!!!

I was going to say something complimentary about your efforts, but now you've called me both fat and old in the last couple of days I'm not going to bother - I'm off for a sulk instead!:o;)

Thanks for all the good wishes on debt freeness! It looks like loads of progress has been made by the posters here (judging by signatures). Keep at it, it's a great feeling once it's paid off. not long to go for Maz by the looks of it? I think I'll enjoy it for a while before I peek in to the MFW board!

Did my 4 miler this morning. Was a bit of an obstacle course, with piles of wet leaves all over the place. Be careful people, it's easy to pick up an injury in these slippery conditions. Still I got through it in modest time (5' K's) and I got out there.

Nice to see you're getting back into it Beer Tins and, despite wedding shennigans and niggles, you're pretty much as fit as before.

So a bit of cobweb removal and away you go.

As far as the leaves are concerned - that'll teach you for being posh enough to live in leafy Surrey, or wherever. We can't afford trees up North!!!:p

Is it all fields and no trees then? ;) And sadly I don't live in Surrey, I live in South London (innit tho?). I was posh enough to take delivery of my spangly new insoles and give them their first runout though. I must say I noticed... nothing! Which is what I'm supposed to notice I suppose!

    well done Beertins...!

You are so thoughtful thinking about others and saying watch out for slippy leaves! Bless you!

And yes my DFD is coming along nicely, but i think Xmas might have an impact on my ability to overpay the 2 in my siggy. thanks for noticing!

you might have seen that there are a few of us signing up for the Leeds Runforall on 21st June next year, Sal, Sammy, Bunny, Snaggles, Squizzer and Me, with others to confirm nearer the time.... we plan on having a sort of running thread meet, with others coming along to support us on the day from the daily chat thread and other rowdy places! Will you be joining us?? Have you told Mrs Beertins about your new friends yet?!!

Beertins - South london is much nicer than Surrey anyway! I found it slippy this morning as well - lots of hidden puddles as well! Well done on the run though :)

Rich - I'm the cheeky one - didnt you notice that yet ;)

Hobsch - woweeeee thats an impressive time! I dont mind laps either because it means you can judge how far you've got to go really easily, but I've never done a race so I wonder whats its going to be like in those conditions?
