Hi all. Been away for the w/end. Did an IT job for my Mum's business, so while it wasn't very exciting and I didn't get to do a run, I'm now debt free (or will be once I get the money in the next few days). Happy day

Back to the running tomorrow morning.

P.S. Am I still allowed to post here now that I'm debt free!?

    Evening All!

On my rest day today - yippee!

Off out for a morning four tomorrow before another packed day - why do I always book too much stuff in my 'holidays' - I'll look forward to going back to work to get some rest time in ;)

So this week I'm going to start actually noting down my times and use these as a baseline going forward for my target time, although I suspect tomorrow's four will be a lot slower than usual as it involves lots of huge hills, I reckon about 1.05-1.10 will be fine since hill running is not something I'm used to.

    Hope everyone's been going well.

Congrats Beertins on being debt free by the way :) - WELL DONE YOU!

You seem to have far too much energy for a rest day - we'll have to see if we can slip a 10 miler into your Mondays perhaps? ;)

PS Chickadee, how did the intervals go? (Assuming you had recovered enough to do them)

    Hoorah! I'm making progress! :D

Just been to the track tonight and done my 3 x 1600m interval session. My times were...wait for it...8:18, 8:23, 8:24 on an avg HR of 161. So, the HR is consistent with last time's effort levels, but an increased pace.

Last week I was doing a similar pace but only for 800m intervals, and I didn't feel like I could sustain it for a full 1600m, but this week I can!
    I'm dead chuffed! :j
