Gosh, was it really only yesterday when I was saying how glorious the October weather was?

Well not today! The last 5K was into a strong headwind with driving rain so a good test of strength.

Very refreshing though and finishing was a very nice feeling. :p

The fact that you're not even trying and still manage that time is quite maddening actually! ;)

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

It is now pinned up on the wall of my study at home. I have my baseline 10K on Sunday and on Monday I start the new regime!

    Off we go.

    Morning All,

Ooo everyone is following a coach Rich plan! Excellent.

OKay so I did my easy 4 miles this morning - phew my legs were stiff form the hill runs yesterday but I did it in 40 mins which is great...

On the not so good front some annoying man was giving me verbal hassle as I got back to my flat and made me feel really scared and angry - what a b*******d!

Oooo I'm so cross now...has anybody else had this problem?

sorry to read about your hassle becky - last week P and I were followed for a few yards by a "friendly neighbourhood hoodie", who wanted a chat..........turned out to be absolutely fine, but reminded us that we have to be careful, especially when running alone.

Good news on your run though - I hope to get out after work.

after reading all the talk of pacing and fartlek etc.. this is me....

    5k pace=11 minute mile...
    10K pace = 11 minute mile
marathon pace = 11 minute mile...

A plod? me? naaaah? surely not. my theory is as long as i get round and i feel comfortable then that is fine by me! anything more technical than that and i don't have a clue!! ;)
