Well done with your run today Sammy, good effort.

Sally, to answer your question on what age do you become a veteran it is 35.
Becky - stop cheeking your elders.:p
And you might prove you're the youngest but you're still only 9 years off being a veteran yourself!!!!;)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

What a git, a few years ago I got asked in Sains. I showed my driving license and the cheeky mare said 'oh it must be your teenage spots'! I didn't think much of it until out of the shop then thought to myself I should have lynched her.0

And elder statesman exactly how old will you be in 9 years..?
Oh yeah still a lot older than me so nah0 -
Well done Sammy!
I know that these less than straight forward races attract the more experienced runners, and this sounds really specialist, so you should be pretty pleased with yourself
I have done multiterrain but not how that sounds! Is it what you were expecting or was it a suprise to you?
HI Chris, i am a bit of an idiot and read the 'flat multiterrain' bit and it must not have registered...just saw the flat bit (and it wasn't that flat!)
actually runchum no 2 had seen it and called and said that the organiser said it was an okay run.......:o
Am I the eldest at 43!:eek:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi All,
Well, today, I actually *went running* woo! The first (proper) time in a couple of weeks, but actually feel like my cold's on it's way out now...
Thought I'd do quite an easy 5.5 mile one...get back in the swing of things gently....and managed to stick to that for about the first 3 miles, but then felt it was just *too* easy and put my back into it a bit more. Ended up extending it to 10k and got round in 54:29 - the fastest I've done aside from the race, so was fairly chuffed all in all...guess I haven't lost all my fitness the last couple of weeks after all...
(I'd also played a couple of hours of golf beforehand, so wasn't fully "fresh" today..)
Glad to read everyone else is still getting on OK...And whilst I doubt I'm the youngest overall, I'm the youngest to declare thusfar - at a positively spritely 250
