just poppin in to tell you about my personal training session which i loved.

Ten minutes on the rower (I love/hate the rower - hate it cos its hard and love it cos its so good for you all over) - then boxing...she said it would help with the running??? I will take her word for it, but for ages afterwards my arms were shaking. I went to make a cup of coffee and missed the cup!

Then skipping (yuch) and then abs work (what abs!!) then a good stretch.. Feel really good now.

One of my biggest problems is that I have been sweating so much lately that my face is sore from the sweaty salt..I have quite sensitive skin....I know it will go eventually.

HOD - I joined a running club where I do my personal trainer.

My other news is that I am going to pick up a rower that someone was giving away on freecycle:T

    Excellent workout sammy!

Re the sweaty skin thing... maybe try just simply drinking more water to dilute the effects.... ? (sorry if that is stating the obvious, you can slap me round the head next weekend!)

Blimey Sammy you're going for this fitness seriously! Sounds like your PT works you hard..would love to have a couple of sessions to work on different areas (legs and bum...oh and flabby tummy!)

When I rowed at Uni Sammy we had to do 3 sessions a week on the rowing machine and targets to hit...my god I think its one of the hardest workouts I have ever done for all round fitness. I was very slim back in those days!

Hiya Sally, still feeling pants :( and didn't get to go running because I forgot Ryan had a camhs appointment at 5.30pm, Stu didn't get home till 5pm, and when we got back it was dark.

So I haven't run since Sunday now and feeling a bit crap about that.

It's not really a fast pace btw, my strides are very short, lol!

Ryan said such a funny thing earlier - he overheard me saying I had PMT, but thought I said TNT, and said 'oh, so if I get too near you, you'll explode?' :rotfl: :rotfl:

He's not far wrong actually! :o:D

Sammy - your training session sounds good although pretty hard work- well done you! My skin is not liking the extra sweat either, but hoping it'll calm down soon :o

Love the sound of these Christmas races - I love Christmas pud! :D

Might be stating the obvious but I hadn't thought of it:rotfl:
