Hi HWGA,
Sorry you've been ill - I see you've been walking though which is good.
Hope you feel better soon,

hey guys - just got back after a hilly six miles. I am knackered now but it seemed to get better the longer it went on. I am going to sort out a race every month or so until the Edinburgh Marathon at the end of May. Two or three 10ks followed by a couple of 10 milers and then half marathons.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0

Right first things first - holds wrists out for slap from coach!!!!! Ow!
Had to try out new Sorbi things so ran again today (sorry). and unintentionally did my mile in 10.26 - whole minute faster! Sorry again!
Promise only walk tomorrow and massive poo pick on rota!!!!!!!
Well done EVERYONE :T it seems that each and everyone is on a running roll - long may it last!! Each little milestone feels like such a huge achievment be it the first mile, first 4 miles -5 etc. The highs carry you through the day!!!!!
I think that is the first steps to an addiction 'Hi my names Liz and i'm a runner' (well sort of).:beer:0 -
Well popped into DD pre-school this morning and told them of my intentions to run LM and wanted to donate 1/2 of donations to them....lady cried with joy as they are desperate for funds, so know I have done a good thing. What made me smile is when she asked me if I was "a runner" I could reply for the first time ever I felt I could actually say yes!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I was about to get an early night and then remembered that I would try and explain to sallyx how to delete the runs in Nike+ so here goes...
When you log in to Nike+, you will see the 'my runs' button in the bottom left of the screen, next to 'challenges' and 'community' etc. If you click on here and select 'runs' it will show you all your runs on the graph, they look like green sausages, all different lengths dependant on how far/long you have runned for!
If you know which one you want to delete (you have to do them one at a time) you simply click on the relevant green sausage run and then this will show you the run on a graph on its own. When you go to click on it, the sausage will turn red in colour and will show you the run details. It will show up on the graph with lots of dots on it and a picture of a runner at the end!
What you need to do is then look in the top right of the 'run details' rectangle, where you will see 'back' 'options' and 'share'. If you click on 'options' you can either 'name the run' or 'delete it'! If you click 'delete it' it will remove it for you but once it has gone it has gone for good!
Hope this helps and doesn't sound too silly!

Thank you Donna, have managed to delete all my inacurate runs! Going to start again and really get my head around it. Doesn't help that somewhere after Bristol half I managed to loose the manual (although that doesn't tell you anything about Nike+ site)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

That is great Sally. The more we tell people that we are runners the more we believe it ourselves. And so we should because it is true. In most peoples eyes you are doing far more than they ever had so to them you certainly are a runner. It does not matter anyway if you are running in the Olympics or starting out with a bit of running and walking or somewhere in between you are running and have aspirations and goals so you are a runner.
Good luck with your Marathon and fund raising Sally!“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -
