    Hey peeps!

Well done Sammy! Bet you're chuffed you went now? :T

Seems like you had a ball (whilst also working very hard) and it's always good to have a bit of eye candy to focus on!

I've been to body balance, which consisted of contorting myself into positions that just were not made for me, lol followed by a run.

    And get this.....I ran a mile!!! :T
Small in comparison to some of you, but I feel that this board has helped me push myself a little more! I've been doing 1k runs so far, but a mile didn't really affect me too badly. My lungs were giving way, rather than my legs!

Bex that great, well done you! Don't belittle your mile, we have all started out there at some point and little and often is good to start with! We as a club are hopefully here to encourage everyone who wants to take up runing/walking so keep at it :T

Ok so I know I said it a few times but tonight I actually went for my first run since having the baby 7 weeks ago. I went out for 20 minutes and went about 2 miles, I felt really good so very pleased with myself. Next run is on Thursday, no goals at the minute other than to just get back into a routine for a few weeks.

Well done everyone for your continued progress.

Another great achievement on our club tonight. Everyone is doing so well and I think we all deserve :T :j :T a pat on the back.

Evab think you have the right attitude, although setting youself a goal will give you something to get up and run for even if its "I am going to run twice a week" or each run I do for the next 3 weeks will be at least 2miles.

    Heya everyone!

I was about to get an early night and then remembered that I would try and explain to sallyx how to delete the runs in Nike+ so here goes...

When you log in to Nike+, you will see the 'my runs' button in the bottom left of the screen, next to 'challenges' and 'community' etc. If you click on here and select 'runs' it will show you all your runs on the graph, they look like green sausages, all different lengths dependant on how far/long you have runned for!

If you know which one you want to delete (you have to do them one at a time) you simply click on the relevant green sausage run and then this will show you the run on a graph on its own. When you go to click on it, the sausage will turn red in colour and will show you the run details. It will show up on the graph with lots of dots on it and a picture of a runner at the end!

What you need to do is then look in the top right of the 'run details' rectangle, where you will see 'back' 'options' and 'share'. If you click on 'options' you can either 'name the run' or 'delete it'! If you click 'delete it' it will remove it for you but once it has gone it has gone for good!

Hope this helps and doesn't sound too silly! :o xxx

If it doesn't make any sense, let me know and I will take some screen shots from the Nike+ and email them to you...not very user friendly is it....grrrrrrrr! xxx

My lungs were giving way, rather than my legs!
I was finding this too - my legs wanted to carry on but my lungs wouldn't co-operate. And then suddenly they would  and I'm not really sure what caused the change, but it happened suddenly not gradually. You are doing really well - I know people on here run soooo much further, but I still think a mile is a bloody long way! :rotfl:

I'm supposed to be running tonight but my knee hurts - I'm not sure if it's related to the running or not, maybe I should go and just give it a go, and stop if I get any pain? Arrrgghhhh, I hate my stupid knackered ligaments.

Snaggs please be careful if you have bad ligaments...

Well done Sammy - set and goal and go for it! Rich might do you a training plan if you ask nicely. There's a good list of runs on the runners world website...

Yeah Pania - we have two LM members now whoop whoop - looking forward to hearing how your training goes.

    Hello more new(ish) members...

HWGA - have you done any more recently..? Havent seen you for a few days (but then I could have missed it)...

Did my slow 4 this morning in 40 minutes - oops meant to be slower than that, but hey I enjoyed it - everybody seems to be running in London today - even some peeps I havent seen before who (coughs) look like they might never have run before - go new runners!
