    Hi Hobsch,

That sounds like the strength has become noticeable already.

How did the runs feel? They're at a good pace so you must have been feeling pretty good!

Poor you sally, I did have to put on a slightly damp running bra this morning...which was a bit annoying!

I need to find an Asda round here and get a few more (at £4 each why not), then I dont have to worry about when its in the wash...

Okay - I have decided I WILL do a half marathon..I have ordered a book from novice to half marathon in six months so I need a half marathon with LOTS of people in it around April 09. Does anyone know of one?

    You go sammy
Have a look on either the runningbug or runnerworld website and they list all the races you can enter

£4 bargain, wish I had a good asda near by. Looks like it will be online for me to get another couple and going into town to have a look at tshibo running stuff to see if its worth the money

    Hi Rich,

I was feeling very good last night. I do a run around some footpaths near my house as well lit as getting dark now. Its 2.4 miles according to mapmyrun and has 2 small but steep hills. I was just going to do the one run but as feeling good I ran a second lap. Not that I was trying to get a good time but timed it anyway and the second lap was quicker than the 1st.

    Hi Sally,

They've just started (like this week) doing clothes online from Asda direct - it is £3.95 delivery charge but you can order as much as you like...they do a £6 one as well which is more supportive for you larger ladies....

I've just found one 2 miles away so I'm going to trundle down there next week (yikes got to go to Clapham eeeks)...

    That's good to hear.

Its how it should be - walking to strengthen and then let the running improve itself. With the second lap being quicker (and presumably with similar effort) the muscles are already up to coping with 4+ mile runs which is the Training Effect Threshold.

Once past this point progress continues onwards and upwards.

I'm sensing it felt quite good as well so more of the same is what the doctor ordered.
