Woo Woo is a genuine drink - it's a cocktail of vodka, Archers, cranberry juice and lime (I think).Whatever you do sure you will have a great time and lots of WOOwoo (where did that word come from?) will be drunk
It's very gorgeous and doesn't give you a hangover because you don't end up dehydrated and it's full of vitamins - it's practically a health drink..... :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Snags it gives you a hangover if you drink enough of them (trust me on this)
I'm a bit stiff today Sally, but I walked into work so feel virtuous - just checked my running plan - this is my only rest day all week nooooooooooo0 -
i will be giving my honest appraisal of the Woo Woo and will report back... (however to my mind, woowoo is more a state of mind!!!!)
anyhow on to exercise news!!
i swam today for 40 lengths! which is absolutely my best swim ever! = 1 km!!!
I'm faaaaar too happy for a monday morning, blaming the endorphins, however will probably be asleep at my desk by 11am!!!
Oh and my hair looks like pants, but i have an excuse...! would finance manager think it inappropriate if i whipped out the straighteners?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Go you Maz,
Wow I cant even swim 10 lengths let alone 40!!
Can you 'nip to loo' and straighten your hair??0 -
I used to love swimming but I never go any more unless it's to take the kids - does it seem to compliment the running Maz? I'm wondering if I should go on Fridays instead of running."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hi All, just popping in to assure you all that I am still alive (barely) and to congratulate you all on your achievements over the weekend - especially Chickadee, great time.
I've been feeling *rubbish* the last week, all bunged up and miserable, so just led in bed over the weekend, doesn't seem to have helped much, though...Just hope I shake it off a little before footy tomorrow...0 -

I'm very new to swimming to this extent, altho i've always gone with Erin, every week.. but swimming for fitness sake is a real eye opener....
it certainly feels good, and i'm sure it does compliment it cause it's completely non impact/non load bearing... just watch your SPD hips if you do breast stroke legs....
it really depends on what you want to achieve out of your programme; whether the main thing is running and times, or whether it is fitness overall.... 2 runs plus a good swim should be ample for a busy working mum... any other swims with kids/walks with kids is bonus activity innit?
Running is the means to an end for me, not the be all and end all... if i was better at it i would concentrate more on runs but as pants will balance it out with a swim....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

why not take a anti histamine, that might be enough to clear your head once and for all.. shift the bunged up feeling if that's all that's left....
poor you..... nothing worse!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
