    I'm here..

Just keeping quiet due to my lack of running lately...

(mapmyrun only reckons I've burnt 15000 calories or something this month - about 25% less than the last couple of months...worrying trend...)

    15,000 calories holy moly,

Mind you just think if you burn 2,500 a day (or 2,000 if you're a girly like moi) - it doesnt seem that much, but its still 15,000 extra calories...

    Feel better idio?

    Yeah, much - thanks :D

I don't care about the number *really* - I eat less than my "daily" calories most days, so as you say, anything I burn exercising is just a bonus...it's just the fact that it's less than the other months (and seems to feature rather more "rest days" than the others) that has me worried.

I think it's mainly expained by the lack of mountain biking lately tbh - a 3/4 hour ride really racks up the calories...but I've been busy on weekends and it's a bit dark to ride after work now...hopefully that's all it is, but I'm keeping a close eye on it :)

lol, I don't count them too much day to day, just take an interest in how many calories stuff has before I buy it...And I only know the mapmyrun stuff because it says it right at the top - and is an interesting indication of "total stuff done" in a month...

I'm starting to wonder if I need to find somewhere new to run though, because the asthma doesn't bother me when I do the school run, but it does when I run round the reservoir - maybe something is triggering it. Damn, I love running round there too.

Hi Snaggles, I have asthma too and always find that when near to water it's a lot colder and that in itself takes my breath, enough to make me need the blue inhaler. I assume you keep yours with you? Don't worry, I can't boast about doing so as all too often I forget. :o

Good luck with finding somewhere dryer, it'll certainly help you.
