Doesn't it all look so daft in hindsight thought? It looked pretty silly at the time to be fair.
PS Gordon Brown 'Monitoring Situation Very Closely'. Why does that not make you feel any better?:p
But anyway, with Gordon Brown taking care of us, we'll be okay, right??"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
They've already got the name of the film sorted out:
'The Day The Bill Arrived'
Even RBS (Natwest et al) are now looking vulnerable! Jeez!

Yes, all okay so far. We are probably the least likely to go under. Doesn't mean it can't happen though, but fingers crossed we will be okay.

You're right about that - the immediate effect, if they can't rescue it, is that the inter-bank rate will soar even further. Short term mortgage rates could go up to the dreaded 15% again.
As I say, they've got to find an answer - the consequences are unthinkable.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
