Phew, finally removed my insoles and have managed to put the sorbothane ones in. I did have to use the pulling little bits out at a time method,so my pretty trainers are irretrievably knackered-looking now... no going back eh? They feel sooo comfortable though, just had a little run round the garden to check! So I think I trust you Rich...."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hi Everybody! You have another newbie!
I've been lurking on this thread for a few weeks and you all seem a great bunch! I've never been much of a runner, and I'm trying to improve my attitude towards it. I do loads of sport, and I'm at the gym, so I'm always busy and active. I'm working with my personal trainer on improving my fitness for running.
So really, I'm a beginner and I'm just looking for a little guidance here and there - it's always good for someone to point out where you may be going wrong!
hi bexter! i'll save the introductions as you have been lurking so will know everyone!!
i never ran tonight, weather was pants... and i am lazy!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Its difficult to think about running at the moment.
There's a financial catastrophy unfolding - a bloodbath is expected. Far worse than we've seen so far!
Was Bush bluffing? We'd better hope so - London will not be a pretty sight tomorrow!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

I am watching the news on Channel 4. Doesn't sound great We have to remain positive.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0

Unless they rescue it in the next couple of days it means the Lloyds/HBos deal is off and HBos just goes under. Plus lots more.....
They've got to find an answer.
PS It looks like Bush is about to make a statement - this should be interesting!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Even if you did - you didn't make the rules.
Doesn't it all look so daft in hindsight thought? It looked pretty silly at the time to be fair.

Thank you Spud, that's so sweet.
Yes, all okay so far. We are probably the least likely to go under. Doesn't mean it can't happen though, but fingers crossed we will be okay.
I love my job.....sniff....
