Like it Maz - although it would be nice to get MSE in if we could somehow - if we are allowed - has anyone PM'd the great lord himself to ask permission..maybe he could sponsor us:rotfl: I meant running kits not actual money IYSWIM:o

I don't mind helping out in some capacity if needed. Looks like all the posts are filled - especially the obvious one for me, but happy to help out.

I love Jillian but would prefer a Bob! Although I do think I would probably fall in love with him.

How about going through those posts and looking to see how they can be made more positive. :D

Despite the jesting I am making a more serious point here.

Running is 90 % psychological and if we win the battle in our minds, we get much closer to our goals. Some postive affirmations and visualisations may be the order of the day.

And nobody suggest that I should be the club Sports Psychologist

Take your point cnoelj......i think it is more of a beginners confidence thing.. When I first started running I never ever imagined I would look like those one of those confident runners pounding the streets, but imagine my amazement when twelve months on I am one of those same people...

That is great and I hope that is an encouragement to others. With a bit of discipline, motivation and self belief we can achieve anything we set our minds to

Because you are a friend we coud come to some arrangement.

Think yourself a Runner Jinks seriously - it is half the battle. You may be a new runner or a novice runner, but you are still a runner, which is far better than the vast majority of folk out there who thinks that changing the TV channel is exercise And you will improve I promise you! Be proud to tell people that you are a runner
