Go and enjoy it. Its always a good idea to start very slowly and let the speed build up naturally. You always enjoy races far more where you start slowly and build up as oppose to going hard early on and then having to hang on. So as slow as you can early on.
I only go one pace Rich...and thats slow :rotfl: Im sure the atmosphere on the day and all the others running by will encourage me to keep going!
Like you say Maz, if I have to walk some then I will just have to I guess!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

No I won't take it unless really really necessary!
I don't know im sure she did number 2 didn't she?? Thought she had an upset stomach? Maybe it is fokelore....!
There were different events involved in the rumours. She definitely did the old no.2 in the road tunnel at 23 miles in London cos she admitted it. There have been upset stomach incidents as well.
But when she runs 150 miles per week she hasn't got time for normal toilet habits!
The poor girl can't get away from it though - you'd think she was the first human to have these functions!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

When i was doing my research into toilet and running.. i found some info and pics of Paula and she was peeing........ no mention of the other...... so i assumed it was only the one... but anyhow......... i will change the subject now!!!!!!!!!!!
Erin has swimming lessons at 1030 tomorrow... last week i sat with the other parents but i couldn't see much.. i think i'll just go out for a walk tomorrow instead while she is in. I was considering going for a run but i'm running on sunday so won't run 2 days on the trot... (oops there it goes again, toilet talk!!)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Knew you would know the low down on Paulas toilet habits Rich
Having a nice walk must be better than sitting in a stuffy pool. my DD also has swimming lessons tomorrow but I am at work all day so DH will be taking her.
Right going to hit the sack now, will pop on tomorrow night if I get a chanceI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Evening!
Good luck Sally xxx
I ran again today, and can now run for....ooooooooh.....7 minutes without stopping, and can still manage to speak (and no more asthma attacks). I flew through the school run today, but yesterday it was really hard going. Not sure why except that I had pmt?
Hope everyone is well - am going to try a run in the park tomorrow evening I think - try to build up gradually to 10 mins. Hurray, I have a first goal!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

You're not going anywhere - we need you!
We want EVERYONE involved. I'm not sure I know what you mean by not wanting to 'hold anyone up'. In what way?
This could actually be unique and you're part of the start of it. Let me explain:
Where else could you:
1. See what people are talking about in a club anonymously (If you want to)
2. Join in the chat anonymously (If you want to)
3. Pick other people's brains about improving (If you want to)
4. Get encouragement for your goals and target setting (If you want to)
5. Meet to compete in races (If you want to)
6. If, and only if, you want to progress to be a AAA club member the option is there (If you want to)
I honestly don't think the option exists anywhere else to put your toe in the water in this way and progress to whatever level you want to.
Don't get concerned about all this talk of a 'club'. It doesn't make any difference to anything. Its not for elite athletes, or at least we're stuffed if it is cos we aint got any!
It doesn't make any difference at all except to potentially gain us one or two benefits.
So stop being daft and give us a big hug!
And guys you can all have a great big hug, if only I could get anything to work(((((((((((((((huggy hugs)))))))))))))))))
Ok keep my place and just bring it on guys

Right advice taken Rich..actually I am feeling really tired tonight (after a bad night of DD waking twice and wanting to come into bed with me) so hopefully I will get a decent nights sleep
