    Yay Sally!!!! impressive 5k time!

And good for DH coming along to support you... nice to have someone to hold your bags as well!

Well me n runchum went out last night, did 2 miles, 30 mins, 1 minor stop for stretch out and to retie my laces.... I was having that pain again up the side of my ankles but it must've been down to lose laces as onc tied they were fine.... my ankles must need extra support.

On holiday this weekend to sunny (i hope!) Blackpool! so next run planned for next wednesday....... unless i decide to force myself out on friday morning for one on my own. but i may be busy packing for hols etc.

Very quiet on the thread lately!?

Yeah Maz I think everyone has gone into retirement! Where is cjnoel and JB amoungst others??
How about a 10 min fast run on friday?? Quick but effective. Hope you have a lovely holiday in BP. Im having 2 weeks off work end of month and I can't wait. 1 Week away staying in a lovely house in the wilds outside Axminster (friends house, so very DFW) and then a week at home when we can do things local.

Well done guys... er.. I haven't done anything :o I played rounders the other day which involved a bit of running but otherwise haven't got round to it.. useless! Was planning to do a 10k in September but really not sure I'm going to be up to it...

Well there's a challenge for you. Do your normal pace but every so often maybe 1-2 mins put in a little sprint (or slightly faster) for 30 seconds. It will really help build up your fitness

I will give that a try tomorrow... will walk with Erin to school and go for a run home, it's a 15 minute walk so will convert it to a training run instead.

    thanks hun!

Hiya, to be honest I was a bit taken aback at how hard running was when I got back into it, my aerobic fitness is really not great! Trying to get out and do more stuff in general, looking at dance classes etc, so hopefully that'll help.
