Well done pania, great start keep it going!

cnoelj - I'm hoping to get under 60 mins for the 10km, I have no previous time for this so it will be a benchmark. My 5km Race for Life was 28:10 which I was really chuffed with as I had been ill for 2 weeks before. Although I say under 60mins I'm just really looking forward to taking part in such an amazing event.

Just enjoy the day. Aim to finish and have a good time.

60 minutes seems like a good target

    Good luck

How do you go for a run with a pony? Side by side or do you run in front? I just can't picture it!

Well done P - you didn't cheat and sit on the DP though did you :rotfl:

How about we all "sign up" for a Sunday morning DFW run?

I will PM certain members with my bib number for Manchester Run - I am just paranoid someone (or maybe a client with debt!) will recognise me:rolleyes: I am the one in the chicken suit.............

    ...............................................................................
    ...............not really :rotfl:

Think everyone has done fab and for at least a day it has took my mine off how much I owe and kept me occupied. The best thing is it's free and we're making some friends along the way :T

hi (heavy breathing, pant, pant) everyone (deep breaths, no you're not going to collapse)... just got back from my run. Did 3.7 miles had to turn back a bit early as bl**dy seagulls attacking everywhere you go. Still I've been, and must have sweat off a stone!. Off for a cool bath in a min, see you tomorrow.

    Hi there

I'm planning to do a carboot sale on Sunday if the weather's nice. So I won't be running but I will be up early and thinking of you all.

Tomorrow morning though.... I'm planning to do my 1.4 miles again! I've felt great today, really positive and have done much more work than usual. I'm sure it's connected to starting the day with a run and cleaning the cooker rather than lying in bed stressing.

Fantastic!!! I'm so glad people are getting some use from the thread!! welldone evab. Attacking seagulls!!! Thats crazy!!

Seaxwyn we run side by side. he loves it and gets all excited, a little too excited at times love him!! and as he trots quite fast i have to shift it to keep up with him. think we're getting rather well known round the village where he's kept now, must make for quite an amusing sight!!
Unfortunately can't cheat and ride him as he only comes to my ribs and i'd need rollerskates!!
I'm defo up for a sunday morning run. Staying back at the folks in kent for the weekend so can measure myself on my old route and see how it goes.

Glad you've had a great day after your run sea, let us know how you get on. right off for a run to the bar! See you all in the morn.
    Big hugs
    xx

Can I join? I've been training for the last 6 weeks for the Race for Life, using the Walk, Run, Walk training plan off the website. As someone that has always hated running I set myself a personal challenge to be able to run some of it. I've managed to do all of the training sessions - 1 more to go :j
I've raised £180 sponsorship and lost nearly a stone :j so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.
