Hmmm i know that one!!! Size 8 next skinny jeans fitted lovely last june, no chance now!! So will join you in that goal if ok. xx
I had to finally admit defeat and get rid of all my size 8s recently, no way I'm ever getting back into them... haven't for a few years but I was still skinny in my head! Actually I don't mind having hips and other curvy bits, if only I could have the flat stomach back....
Hope more running will tone me up a bit as some of the size 10s are a bit tight now too.. most size 12s are a little bit too big though (especially trousers), why don't they make an 11?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I have never lost weight, like I have since i started running, it will fall off you provided you run at least twice a week.
Always best to run with someone as that is a big help.
Hope it all goes well22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

redsquirrel,
have you tried pilates? It might just be my girl, but she does a lot of ab stuff and I can defiately feel a difference under the flab... I think I have a 1.5 pack! It's good for your back and flexibility too.

Actually, yep I did do it for a while, but it fell by the wayside when I started running more as I didn't feel like I had time to do both... and yep I agree it does make a difference, or it was starting to.. must try and get back to it. Thanks for the reminder!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Redsquirrel - snap, I'm a perfect size 11! It must be the most common size around so why don't they make any clothes to fit us?
I've packed up a load of my size 10 clothes for a carboot sale, perhaps I should unpack it after all if what Southwester says is true and the weight will start falling off us.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Trust me its true, eat plenty of pasta before runs, glucose powder from Chemists, take running bottle with you and take sips, it makes hellofa differance. jelly babies full of carbos whilst your running.22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

ooooh would be nice wouldn't it!! i'd love to watch weight falling off me, although would cause an earthquake when it hit the floor!! He he. Some shops size ten seem to be dinky and wouldn't fit a barbie doll whereas next size ten is really big. Thought there was meant to be a standard they worked to!! grrr.
And SW, running with someone is a fantastic idea unless you've moved miles and miles away from home and know absolutely no one like me ;-)
have tried kicking the OH's backside into gear but his gear is like a 50 year old ford anglia and rusted firmly in neutral!! so have self motivation only to rely on, oh god! why did i EVER start this!!!.....debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
No no no pania, you don't have "only self motivation" to rely on, you have this wonderful supportive online running club that you created!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
