Thanks for this, nothing on there close enough (don't want to have to drive too far as im on a tight budget...price of petrol etc etc)
Have just stumbled across one which is 7 miles away but the shortest runs they do are 3/4 miles. I would seriously struggle to do that at the moment so might get in contact in a couple of week. Not trying to put it off but not much point at the moment

Hi sally, looks like we're in the same boat. The prospect of joining the club is a good incentive to get out running anyway. Shall we set ourselves a target - eg being able to join in June?

Hey guys, it's very late and i really should have gone to bed already but thought i would put "pen to paper" as it were and tell you all that i am going out tomorrow morning at 930am with my running buddy for another session of run1min/walk1min....

now i know 0930 is not early as i see you guys go out in the wee small hours of the morning but for me, 0930am on a sunday is early!!! Do i get a medal for commitment if i do this?

I went out last week in the rain, this week in the morning! Pah!!!

Anyhow, hoping the run1/walk1 will be good.... wish me luck!!!

I dont always feel wonderful before I go out. More often than not once I get out I feel good. On the rare occassions that I dont feel good during the run - I am feeling positive at the end and really pleased I did it. In the thousands of runs I have done in my lifetime I can only recall once when no part of the run or the finish was positive. The next day I went down with the flu. I have learned now to discern the difference between 'cant really be bothered' and the body saying 'better to have a rest day'

Off in a few minutes to do 45 - 60 minutes or so. And yes I am feeling quite positive about it!

Definatley that means if we follow that training plan by June we should easily be able to it. What are you running/jogging/walking at the moment? This will be my 2nd proper week so up to 12 mins run 3 times this week...I actually could do more but don't want to push myself and get any injuries
