aw lovely to hear from you both. Fab JB that you managed to push through & thats great time in view of traumas plus unimagiably emotional re best mate...just imagine how precious it as for both of you when you finished. I'm sure she was as proud of you as you are of her & whatever happens ahead you both have todays memories in the months ahead. Plus - it aint over till its over! A family member of mine was in a coma and told she would die but is still here 20+ years on....not saying doctors are wrong but they dont know everything! Keep hoping & praying & enjoy the days you have, however many there may be. Hugs hugs for you! Will hink about it but do worry about knee etc plus its an awful long way!!!!! I did my clock for you all & egged you on as I drove home - all the time thinking this is a very long way! Almost Bristol to Cardiff!! Look forward to more tales when you can but meanwhile enjoy a much needed rest, some love & justified congratulations from those you love! and from mebloody well done!

    Am I mad?

Just registered on line for next year. Hopefully I will have no health problems affecting my training and I can achieve that elusive sub 4 hour time.

Anyone else registered? It is a different procedure this year and has to be done on line. I think it will catch a lot of people out as they will close the books when they have enough applicants.

It seems that the site has crashed with the demand! I managed to register but OH can't get on.

If I do get in, it will be 17 years since I last did it - only seems like a couple of years ago!!!

it gets very busy - it crashed this morning, but OH has now been able to get on and register, so you may need to keep trying throughout the morning.

Are you not able to use yesterday's place? You should be able to get a guaranteed place for next year.
