  • Hopefully one of us will win it! I've posted this on P's but just in case...it lets you set splits and laps but I have no idea what each is! Can you tell me please? I want to set it to beep every minute (then every 2 etc) to do my walk/run minutes but not sure which to set and am a bit of a technophobe!

  • Right, Santa Dash completed this morning. 5K in 24 minutes in full Santa suit and a dodgy ankle. Hope we're still the record holders!

  • :hello:

Get off your butt Pania - only joking :)

I did go out last night, did 4 miles with my friend and I did another 4 solo on Sunday morning with a stupid dog chasing my stupid dog, so I ended up running quite fast to try and lose this other dog  Off spinning tonight as well, really enjoyed it last time and it certainly helps those butt cheeks!

No news on Marathon yet, had to fill in some additional forms for a few charities and will just wait and see.

    fantastic idea cnoelj!!

BA, i've just had my ballot rejection and can't afford my £100 upfront payment for the SIA. Just sent my application in to spinal research in teh rejection magazine, they have places and let you know instantly, just waiting for my phone call now, only require £50 instead of £100 which is much more do-able. give em a call girl!!!!

  • Hi P, I know, I know, I know ...................

I just *feel* if I am going to do the marathon I need to do it for something that I know is personal to me and I can raise money for it by others who have been affected by it as well - am I just completely waffling again? I think you are completely right running for the cause and I applaud you and your reasons are right from the heart and that's where I want mine to be?

Ooooh, don't want to offend anyone but I am very concerned that unless I run for something that is akin to something that has affected my friends/family, that I will struggle to raise the minimum and will end up owing money I don't have. I have two causes that mean a huge amount to me and I think if I can get in the run then I want to do it for these, as that way I will be doing it for my friends.....and I stand a much better chance of raising the minimum with the ones I have mentall chosen as I have a lot of wealthy people to prey on :D

Ok I'm off now to waffle away to myself

(I do really, really, really want to do the Marathon by the way..................)

I understand hon no worries, would be a shame not to meet you there is all. especially when you've put so much effort into running and getting fit.
(wheres your diary gone by the way? hope you're doing ok.)
