    Hello again all,
i have now just had a large shipment of new stock in.
selling very well on ebay and can imagine it selling well on amazon too.
ive found the product on amazon, but theres no "sell yours here" option.
under the "new & used section"
    there is only 2 sellers.
they both have the same price, amazon is 1 of the sellers, the other 1 has a logo/picture as their name. so presumabely their a big company.
however, isit possible to list this item or not? would it be worth contacting amazon?
    thanks in advance

    Hi tylerboyo
Glad your books are selling well. Is it a consignment from Priority Books? Have you had any from there before? Am still plucking up the courage to buy a load as DH is already very miffed at the amount of books I've stored all over the house and I couldn't stand his temper if we get lumbered with hundreds more non-sellers for months to come:eek:

I've got a quick question about greenmetropolis. I bought a book 3 days ago and it is still showing as not despatched. I have just gone back and read the terms and condition and it seems that sellers have up to 7 days to send an item..In the past I have always had my stuff very quickly, but haven't bought (only sold) recently and wondered if people are finding some sellers a bit slow to ship?

Hooray, Mr Sean Bean finally came through for me, £46 in the pot! (Post fees, pre postage)

Well done! :T Was that for the hardback or paperback edition?

I've never bought from that site, Soolin. As a seller I have forgotten to log into GM and click the dispatched button. (Sell so few on there that I haven't got into the habit!)

I've remembered before now and the buyer has already logged the book as being received! It could be that the seller has posted the book and forgotten to do that or it could just be a slow seller.

I've sold a lot on GM and always click the 'sent' button as soon as I've posted them but I expect a lot of sellers forget to do it. The only time I bought anything from there I'd received the book and was half-way through reading it before I got an email to say it was on its way:rotfl:

Incidentally, I always though sellers were expected to post books within 2/3 working days. It takes 7 days for payment to clear in the seller's account, that's why I like to get mine posted the same/next day......I need the money!

Hardback - she paid about £57 total including postage... *gulps to think about all that money in fees*

And, a further result, the delivery office finally allowed my Amazon buyer to collect her misaddressed parcel - by the end of the process she was calling me 'babe' so maybe she's nice enough not to leave me a neg for my incompetence! :D

Oh, and thanks for reminding me about GM dispatch notifications - I'd forgotten about the book I sold a couple of days ago!
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

You are right about the 2/3 working days - it says this on your Sales Notifications.

It is possible that they have gone on holiday or haven't been checking their emails. The trouble with GM is that most sellers have so few sales it can be easy to overlook it.

I have just gone a checked my profit after costs for the joblot i purchased in may from priority and was really surprised to find i've covered costs and now have around 250+ books left to sell (out of around 320 with 30 odd wasted)

I didnt really have room but I stuck a load of old stock on ebay that had had the costs covered for it so received 30 quid profit AND made some space :j

As ive commented before i think i got a bit of a dud lot so with a better mix they should sell a bit faster, that said my husband has the stinkiest temper and can sympathise with you ;)
