well I found some - thanks for that - but what can we do? Contact the customer and apologise for the delay before we get rubbish feedback? Or do they already know as the payment hasn't gone through yet?

I should imagine this is worse case scenario in that customer believes book is bought and paid for and is expecting it tomorrow or Friday. Yet we can't get at the buyers info so we can't ship the book...

  • You can contact the buyer by clicking on the order number and then their contact name (after following the steps shown above) at least they will then be aware that there is a problem.

Update! They've finally resolved it. I've also just received the pending SDN
    e-mails.

Hurrah, made a sale after weeks of nothing. It has a message written inside it, which I mentioned in the description, so I will not be impressed if I get a complaint about that!

Hope I have some soon. I havent had anything for weeks. I am sure that 3/5 feedback isnt helping, it has made my otherwise excellent f/b 96%.

Hooray, Mr Sean Bean finally came through for me, £46 in the pot! (Post fees, pre postage)

Hope I don't have to pay some of that out again for the missing textbook which I misaddressed... cross your fingers for me!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • Hi peeps!

sorry for neglecting you all, I've been quite busy with stuff here lately.

Just wanted to update on something which may help people decide on how to price their stuff on amazon. Everyone should be aware that certain sellers are using software to undercut the lowest offered price, but unless you're pretty experienced at listing on amazon you will probably have no idea who these sellers are. Now there is a resource for sellers to refer to which lists the sellers known, or suspected, to be using pricing software to undercut. This list will hopefully be updated and checked for accuracy regularly and should provide an invaluable resource. The lists are also available as RSS feeds should people require a method of being updated to new submissions.

You can find this page here, and feel free to comment or make your own submissions to the lists. Though be aware, only members can make submissions directly to the lists, though anyone can submit via the comments/feedback section. all submissions/comments are approved before publication and all are anonymous unless, though if you are a member your id will show on comments published, though not on submissions to the lists.
