  • Had a break from Amazon due to moving, now I'm sitting here with 4 large boxes to list, hopefully I will sell a few!

Need the extra money as I've found out I'm expecting a babe! :T

Very kind husband brought in all the boxes! ;)

On a roll listed books 10 so far!
  • Just looked for West Ham 'Till I die and it's up for £159.38.

Obviously its an American seller but what do I put mine up for now?

I've never had this happen before!

check for other editions eg paperback/hardback/older/newer as sometimes you will find everything else is at a penny !

search on abebooks.co.uk as that gives a good reflection on availability and sometimes just googling the title and author shows up some helpful info !

  • Can anyone tell me if the postage price Amazon give you for books, cd etc is the same for Duvet Covers.. I have a brand new cover which I could sell but not sure if it would be worth it through Amazon if you only £2 postage?

    TIA

The only way to find out is to go through the listing process and on the last page before you confirm the listing it will tell you how much you will receive if it sells. I've just tried it on a single Winnie the Pooh set and it said that they charge the buyer £4.50 postage, but that could be different depending on the set you are listing because I think it is based on weight.

Hmm, I might be possibly being too harsh in the description of my books.

I had a large hardback book, it smelt a bit musty and page edges were dusty and slightly marked and I described all that and sold it as acceptable. Just had wonderfully gushing 5* saying book almost immaculate and a first edition to boot!

I'm pleased it's gone though as it was very old stock.

  • Much better to be totally honest as you are, soolin, and have delighted buyers than to ignore defects in your listings and receive complaints/bad feedback.

Congrats on yet another sale.

Actually I'm keeping quiet here as I think the selling fairy likes my shed :rotfl:
