Thanks everyone ... I still cant find them either and I've tried everywhere i can think of and really quite sophisticated searches.

I might try emailing bloomsbury first and if nothing stick them on amazon with a highish price tag adn see what happens. Nothing ventrued nothing gained!!

So glad it isnt just me that cant find them though!

Much appreciated folks - thanks again

    Have a good time rare_stuff!!!

    Thanks FFM
This whole thing has thrown me totally - I have enough to do without the stress of this. Now I will have to add the original listing ID to my description but spose once it's done it will always be there. Not sure what to do about the 200 I have already done!!!!!!
Never mind - something good has come out of it as I have sold 3 books this weekend so far and I only have 200 odd listed so revising prices is making a difference.
    Thanks for your help

  • Annie, I take a photo of all spines of the books in the boxes I have scattered around the house etc.

I can get quite a good 'readable' shot and then store it on the PC so that I can locate the book before I leave my chair, I print out the photos too so that I can make a note on the back of the photo if I add a new book to the box. I re-do the photos every 2 or 3 months

    Hi

My earlier post was about a book I have sold and a slight mistake I made in the listing.

I have offered the buyer £1 discount on the book or a full refund, but he hasn't responded (book was purchased on Friday evening).

How long do I give it if he doesn't come back to me and do I send the book with the discount or give a refund??

i suppose 7 days is fair with perhaps a reminder email after 4 days similar sort of timescale as to ebay perhaps

Something I have done in similair circumstances is refund a £1 and dipsatch the order with a note stating I'd tried emailing in regard to the problembut did not want to delay sending longer than the 2 days permitted by amazon. If not happy with this please email me to arrange return for a full refund.

For more expensive books I may write first before dispatching.

No. You can't use funds in your amazon account to pay for purchases from amazon. You can do this on play.com though.
