Yay managed to squeeze in a dishwasher purchase, I know this is a want and not a need but with the hundreds of things I do a week this will save me one! Cashback city today, just waiting for a delivery slot.
Doing some work for second job tomorrow, a bit scared as have to announce winners at a competition and I hate that sort of thing any tips most appreciated
Fairly chilled out week to come until Friday when I'm supporting the Queen's baton relay then off camping with the family for the weekend and dh sister and family.

Child benefit has been paid early due to the bank holiday weekend so I have moved this over to the savings pot and so pleased with progress, amazing what can be achieved really! Just showed dh and he is also suitably impressed.
Actually just tidied over 28p to make it £715, therefore £285 until goal met, I still have some expenses to be paid and some cash back money although some will take longer than others to come through.
Off to athletics comp soon, hope it stops raining!

Wow Chrysalis - you've really been doing well lately. Keep it up! I wouldn't feel guilty about the dishwasher purchase. I would put that down as a necessity like a washing machine when you have a family and holding down a job. I don't have one at the moment, but I still miss it even though there's only me to wash up for. Will definitely get one again one day! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Good morning, no physical pennies to add to the pot but lots of savings elsewhere:
*Stretched out leftovers to make meals for dh work lunch for the week
*gas/elec bill came through I'm £75 in credit and direct debits are reducing from £83 to £76 a month
*expecting a few pennies from cashback tomorrow
I need to write to car insurance provider to cancel renewal, must do that today and should get a small refund from them.
Another rainy day, hoping it improves as we're off camping at the weekend we have all the kit except we just needed a 2-man tent which dh has brought from a friend for £25. It should arrive today or tomorrow.
Friday will be the last work of the month for my second job then I need to get in my expenses, should be a good pay packet next month.
Hope everyone has a good day, C xLoan from Mum £500/£300

Hi there :hello:
I've just read your diary you remind me loads of myself (except the exercise, that's certainly not me).
We love north Wales and holiday there most years. The kids love the slate museum and all the amazing castles.

We love it here Matilda, we moved 9 years ago and it's the best thing we ever did. We had been here a couple of years when my dh bumped into a very old school friend from when they lived in Germany (RAF base), they literally met out of the blue at a quarry where my dh worked and his mate is an archaeologist who was working on site!
Having 5 minutes to myself in between doing the last loads of washing, packing and sorting out the food for camping tomorrow. It's going to be a long day as I don't finish at the baton relay until 5pm then back home to pick up kids from my parents and then off to Snowdonia. Luckily it's only an hour's drive away, I'll be looking forward to a glass of wine by then.
My sister is currently visiting and staying at my parents house 5 mins away, she and my 9 yr old nephew were just going out when we arrived this morning and still hadn't returned 2 hours later. She wouldn't dream of coming round to mine, my sister and I are not close as you can tell.
Dishwasher is due to be delivered on Monday, should get a text tomorrow letting me know the 3 hour time slot what's the betting it's when I need to be at an appointment or when I need to be at the gp with my son.
Expecting a small payment from Qu**co but it's taunting me by just sitting waiting, it's only for £3.95 but I'll round up to a fiver. Nothing else expected at the moment, expenses STILL haven't been authorised.
Have a good weekend all, C xLoan from Mum £500/£300

 As we say in our house, hi hi!
We had a fantastic weekend with the family and my dh friend and his son, it was lovely to see my sister in law and her gang and we all just really chilled out. Had a great day on the lake on Saturday and I went for a little swim, the weather was just perfect. If you want to stay on a campsite in Snowdonia head for Garth Farm it's between Capel Curig and Pen-y-Pass, £5 a night for adults and £3 for kids. We returned home on Sunday morning and spent the day sorting out all the kit and doing the washing, then it all seemed to catch up with us and we were flaked out by early evening. Definitely to be repeated

So home and back to work/school, dishwasher arrived this morning and is currently going through it's first wash it's so lovely to be one job down. It arrived just as was about to leave on the school run so dh didn't need to stay on but glad he was here.
Had to pick up ds early this afternoon as he had a gp appointment about his eczema, it turns out that it's got a bit infected so the little blisters need to be sorted with some extra cream. Poor lad they've been so itchy.
In financial news, I am indeed getting a refund from elec provider to ensure my account doesn't build up in credit and also getting one month refund from car insurance. Quidco payment received and therefore £5 transferred to savings, also a small amount of interest to the tune of 2p!
I really need to do my timesheet for second job but it will have to wait until tomorrow as after the kids are bathed in a minute I need to write some more assignments.
I will need to use income from the repayments and mileage expenses to pay for dd new window, it is absolutely vital that it is replaced as in a bad way, the kitchen windows are also terrible but they will have to wait.
Right baths, lunches, assignments..... I may get to bed at some point.
