Good morning all, it's pay day eve (well morning of said eve) and we have survived another month. We have managed to scrape through by opening the tin of £1/£2 coins that I had started saving for Xmas and also ds was a little trooper and after moving him down to the small bedroom he went through all his toys and we have sold a fair few on fb.
Still cross with myself as we shouldn't need to survive each month we should manage our money so much better, the only good thing was that I knew that everything was paid for except food and fuel. There is still one direct debit that bounced again on Tuesday but I will pay this tomorrow and it's the final payment for dh tablet internet so this is cancelled anyway.
Today my first job before getting back to the mountain of paperwork that I have been trawling through this week, is to write out what is needed to be paid for the month before I even start paying bills. This way I can see from the start exactly how much I need to shell out.
So positives are:
No childcare costs this week.
DH tablet paid for.
I don't have to pay for my climbing session anymore as I help out with the kids sessions.
The boiler seems to have stopped leaking for now and I'm not having to increase the pressure everyday, it will need looking at at some point so need to remember to factor that in somwhere.
We received a measly 1% payrise which is being backdated to August so it should cover my haircut tomorrow, not been for over a year so well overdue.
Finally I have realised that events it other people's lives both on here and in real life far outway my little blip, I have a lot to be thankful for so I just need to focus on my little family and all will be well.

Glad you managed to get through this month chrysalis. You also sound more positive.
I have decided to be tough this month and get everything paid before anything. I'm sick to death of the constant worry and I'm sure you feel the same too. I hope next month is a little less stressful for you.
Enjoy the haircut and try to not go to wild with the payrise.;)1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Hi Chrysalis,
Thought I hadn't seen any posts from you recently! So sorry to hear you've got in a bit of a pickle, but like you say you've survived and will never let that happen again. Weve all been there.
Hope you enjoy your haircut, you probably won't agree but I think you deserve it! xxMummytogirls x0 -
