New plan, day 4:
A rare no spend day for me today, nothing major in terms of actual pennies today but tomorrow is dh pay day and my pay from second job which is not much this month. I can then pay the mortgage and look at how much I have to play with until next pay day.
Some vouchers had arrived in the post today, the £5 from EON account and also a £5 voucher off posh meat at T*sc* will save both for later in the month. I also have two £5 off £40 spends for this week so must make sure I use them.
I have updated records book and looking shocking until tomorrow as I have already taken off all the direct debits for the month.
I need to factor in fuel costs and an outfit for a posh do for work in Cardiff in a couple of weeks.
All OK so far, taking ds to his climbing lesson in a bit where I will be writing an assignment!

New plan, day 5 (don't worry I'll stop after a week!):
Dh has been paid today so mortgage paid for and account looking poor, I still have one credit card statement to come through on 27th so I can pay the monthly amount on that.
DH is still in a mood, no idea why and I really cba to find out either I have too much to do. I have an assignment due in on Thursday and off out in half an hour to see a student, then home to bed.
I can see that it will be tight over the rest of the month but still got child benefit to come in, in 3 weeks time. I definitely need a new outfit for Cardiff but will keep as cheap as possible.
Nothing else to report, accounts book has been updated this evening so all good there. Ooh just remembered I need to pay for climbing but it's only 2 weeks this month.

Don't stop! I find that posting here every day really helps with keeping me motivated and reading other people's diaries (even if I'm lousy at commenting a lot of the time!) tops up my inspiration.0

Ha, I just meant putting the day as a title! I will definitely keep posting however x
New plan, day 6
All looking OK at the minute, I have paid for climbing tonight including my own session, what wait a minute I'm actually doing something for myself!!!! I am hoping to be trained as an Instructor in the New Year so need to practice more.
Checked bank account today all tallied up in records, only had to top up with some bread today as no time to make and cupboards are still pretty full.
Quiet today, just how I like it! Must finish my assignment!

End of first week of new plan, had a couple of days unwell so haven't been out much but OK yesterday and went shopping without dh which was a lot cheaper than last weeks escapades!
My accounts record is up to date and is starting to look a bit brassic on paper so I need to be careful, I have quite a bit of fuel at the moment but obviously I will need a full tank to get to Cardiff and back.
I need to make a note to do my mileage claim, not much expenses for second job due to cancellations of events but will have some for December.
DH had a chat to me about starting to do some courses with the view to doing Outdoor Instructing, I said that I would fully support him but we HAVE to shift this debt.
Dd came home with a letter about a couple of days away next year at the Outdoor Centre so we will have to save for that too, anyone else get fed up with the amount of letters that come home asking for money for little trips, non uniform etc, it seems to be every week that there's something else.
Just thinking it's 22 days until payday, I have £150 in the bank and will get another £134 on 16th and I need to pay for food for 2ish weeks (already got for majority of this week), fuel including trip to Cardiff, an outfit for Cardiff, some money to my Mum and dh phone bill. Hmm definitely need to watch every penny.
Right back to marking, I have an important meeting on Tuesday and everything needs to be ready.

Afternoon Chrysalis,
Everything sounds nice and organised round at your house! I totally get you re the school letters intact I was saying the same thing to DH yesterday when I realised the kids have another non uniform day this Friday just 2 weeks after the last one! Will school allow you to pay the trip in installments? I know ours do xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good to read your updates chrysalis. You're sounding very organised.
I've been hiding from MSE for a while as everything has gone to p00. I need inspiration from others so thanks.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Yes I think we should be getting another letter after Xmas and a payment card, if it's in June though that will be about £40 a month, blimey I'd better put that in my budget properly!
Thanks for posting Parsniphead, but don't hide, I'll pop over to yours as it were in a min x
Last night I printed off a calender for the month and put on it all the things to pay for and how much money we had left until payday, I then went up and showed my dh to say look this is what we need to do and this is how we're going to do it. He was fine, had no choice really
Got through today OK, so now only 21 days until payday, I have a fair bit of travelling to do tomorrow so must make sure to do my expenses.
I went climbing tonight which was great but stuck on a bouldering route as I have rubbish arm strength and am not confidence then, never mind I'll get it next time!
Hope all are well

Ooh things are looking poor but I'm determined not to get too despondent as my plan should work, I still need food and fuel for a couple of weeks and that might be a stretch so I might need to put a little on to cc before child benfit goes in.
Cooking for my Dad on Sunday as Mum has had to go down to my home town as my Grandad has fallen and broken his arm, I need to feed my dad as although he can cook despite being partially sighted he won't have a proper meal.
Not much to report except a colleague at work has said that if I make some bunting etc she can sell at the craft fairs she sells at I would really need to get a sewing machine to get them done quicker but it's a thought.
Hopefully a cheap weekend, working tomorrow afternoon then a busy Sunday.

Sorry to hear about your Grandad chrysalis. I hope is ok apart from the arm.
You seem to have plans in order to get through the next few weeks. It's quite a stressful time isn't it.
Good news about the bunting. Could you borrow a sewing machine to get some made up.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
