I gave you the answer previously, you are asking for people's advice on contract of employment issues, we are not experienced in that, I suggest that if you are not happy with the answers here go and pay someone to give you the answers you seek
Again, i suspect you are wrong. This comes from reasoned well thought out research. If you can counter that so be it. If not your post has been read, digested and noted. But my position has not as of yet changed.0 -

I don't understand what you want from people here, you have found some kind of answer elsewhere, then come here and lambast people for giving other advice . Didn't post #2 not spell it out for you? I'll run it past you again, and in bold what I said
You need to look at what your contract of employment says, and the company policy on their fleet is. We can't offer advice on the first, the second I would say that that involves fines, penalties and congestion charges, this is none of these.
Now I am sorry if you don't understand that, but I told you we can't help on your contract of employment issue, if they have something to cover parking tickets from private parking firms in it then tell us so, but we ain't bloody telepathic !!
We can only advise you on the parking side of things! When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

It's not retrospect at all, I gave you that advice in post number 2, I haven't changed my opinion. If its not on your contract of employment they cannot legally deduct money from your wages unless you agree to it. Or for the reasons already provided from the government.
Even a retired employment solicitor has advised on here. You still haven't said what you want from us on here, we gave you the advice on parking, you appear to think that advice includes a detailed answer in employment law. I told you we are not qualified to answer those questions.
I suggest again you seek advice on this with people who might know the answer because you are not listening to us. And this is my last reply to you as I can't be bothered to answer someone who is so rude and antagonistic, so don't bother replying to me I won't read it!When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. I do want help. Thats why i asked a question. At no point did i ask for the info you posted. I did know it already. But thats by the by cos i aint paid anybody anything. A third party (my employeer) paid it. Should they, shouldnt they? Who cares. Its been done. No going back from that.
As far as your contract of employment goes, i dont know. since ive not seen it. It may be hard for them to prove as these fines are subject to appeal etc, and contract cannot override statute.
I know for a fact that when i rented from enterprise they took 200 pound deposit, and said this would be used to pay fines etc, i did at this point tell them that they cannot do this without my consent, as all fines ( IE penalty notices) are criminal matters and they cannot plead guilty on my behalf, and all PPC notices are subject to popla appeals and it is at my discretion to deal with this, they must simply pass my details on, as they are the registered keepers.
They did concede that i was correct, I would think the same Could apply to you.0 -
Coupon-mad wrote: »In your case, bod1467, your t&cs do NOT cover invoices from private companies, this wording is clear:
''Company vehicle drivers are responsible for paying all parking, speeding or other fines. Such fines must not be left unpaid as this will result in the authorities taking action against the Company. The Company will deduct any fines or penalties direct from the employee’s salary. ''
A fake PCN from a PPC isn't a fine, isn't a penalty and isn't from an authority. For them to pay a private invoice when they would have ZERO liability simply by passing on the driver's name and address, is unfair and not supported by the employment/car use t&cs at all.
It's also completely DAFT to just pay private invoices from any old firm who happen to have mentioned the car reg and have headed notepaper! Anyone with a colour printer could print such a letter and make a fortune from idiotic Fleet Managers!
I agree completely. That's why I'm pursuing it with the in-house fleet people. And the fact I've pointed out this "loophole" in their understanding may be why they're being lethargic in responding to me. (It's 8 weeks since my last email to in-house fleet, until my reminder today).0 -

You realise you could kill this stone dead? Right now? You found a link to a website that is founding your current belief - why not POST THAT LINK and be done with it?
If you don't then you are just trolling.0 -

No completely not. Trolling me own thread? Yes i could post a link if i can find it again but why? I found it read it and now know what it said. Cos others dont like it that makes me a troll? When they repeatedly post without basis and evidence and throw insults? There are trolls, but they aint me.0
