Tonight baked beans on toast as we are still full & then have to pack.
Off to Ireland tomorrow :D. Hope you've booked the restuarant Snowy. ;)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Evening all,

Haven't had chance to read the thread for a couple of days - must try harder :)

I have a proper utility room now (well, the space is there, just needs tiling and stuff) and the best bit is that now I have a freezer!!! And it's HUGE. AND..it was free!!!!!! So that will make OSing a bit easier for me. Bought a new washing machine (we did get one off frecycle but it didnt work, and we didnt want to risk it with another 2nd hand one, so bought a new one). And I have a little garden - except it is currently gravelled with cat litter, so we need to slab it out, but that will all be done in due course and then I can put some nice plants on it.

Having our housewarming on Saturday - a barbecue.

Plans for tonight are do the ironing, start doing a meal plan and shopping list. My mum has lent me some money, which I will use to buy food. It will be an interesting meal plan, as what I buy will probably have to last the rest of the month (apart from bread, milk, fruit and veggies). Lots of cheap meals I think, so on that note I am off to read the relevant threads. Hope you are all well

    Hi Everyone

I have had a fairly good look at you all today in between Inspectors calling, colleagues throwing the dummy out the pram etc etc. I would like to have done a more personal post tonight but I have a sudden attack of fatigue and brain malfunction!

The duckling last night was taken to the Wildlife Centre in Inverkeithing run by the SSPCA. Again said to DD do not kidnap wildlife again. There is probably a grieving Mummy Duck somewhere!

DD took boys to park today and things had been painted and no warning signs!!! Spots of red paint all over them (plus doggie doos on DGS1 shoes!!!!!!!!!!!). I have told her to e-mail Council to complain and I will take the white spirit over on Saturday!

Elderberry Wine - got my wine recipe (written ones) out tonight. Guess what - it said refer to Berry Wine in main book which we no longer have. So sorry I can't help but I am sure a Google would bring up some things. Have got a wine recipe for leftover Tea Wine if anyone wants it. I seem to remember it was OK but particularly good for cooking once it almost turned to Sherry!

Know some of you are having good days, bad days and OK days. Take care you all and love and hugs. If I get second wind might come back on later.

    Love

Also any news from Haribo? I thought she would be back by now:confused:

CM, Haribo's home, but she has the new car so has been busy playing with it ....also she's been on the phone non stop today as she's booking a holiday in France and we're trying to co-ordinate things so that we can spend a couple of days together there.

My trees have been cut back in the garden and it's fantastic........for the first time in a couple of years we were sitting out in the sunshine after 7.00pm! Of course we had to celebrate with a barbeque for tea!

I spent most of the day in the garden fiddling with the plants and chatting to my next door neighbour ...I've fried myself a bit because there was a breeze and didn't realise how hot the sun was! Dd sat her first AS exam today.....she thinks it went well, I hope so!

    Have a good evening everyone.

Thanks for the update, Pink:D As long as eveything's OK.
Ooh I'd forgotten about your trees (memory span of a goldfish sometimes:o ) How lovely to be able to reclaim your garden in the evening. The chap did a good job then? Glad you hadn't been "caught" being a bit of a softy:rotfl:

    Evening All

Thanks button isnt working for me this evening so apologies.

Bargain Rzl - have spotted Ticklemouse in the arms but not nelski.

Was very fed up this morning but have turned my day around. Did do some laundry but no housework. Have sorted with bank some finance so these cashflow problems do not arise again. Have put some items on ebay one of which is getting a lot of attention and should bring me a nice sum. (Im right getting into this ebay lark but must stop from looking at my ebay all day!) and checked my cashback sites and am due £50 from Quidco and £40 from greasy palm. This will go in my savings account and pay off my next bill when it arrives.

Had a lovely mooch around a local town when I did my banking and treated myself to a nice top from dp's which will do for a meal we have been invited to on Sunday - bit naughty but did cheer me up.

Feel a bit bad that I didnt do any housework but it will still be there by Monday (am out the next 3 days). Anyway am doing loads of cooking and baking and my savings pots growing (we did use to spend a fortune on takeaways).

Oh if any one is going to Orlando - disney are doing a new ticket - called the ultimate. Its valid everyday for the whole of you stay, expiring 14 days after the first use. I have priced mine direct from disney and univeral and have saved over £200 from what 1st Choice wanted.

Anyway going to have a surf around mse and an early night.

    Have a good one.
