Morning every1 before and after :hello:
Feeling much better today. Got a good nights sleep for onceOff to a slow start because I slept in but think I might actually be able to be productive today.
OH worked on my corrupt money file when he got home last night - it's definately knackered. He can manage to get it so I can view it but if I exit it knackers it again. This thing has my life in it! Future bills scheduled for a year, birthdays, all the house inventory. Sob sob. Not sure how to get around this! But did get another coffee cafetiere so can drip feed myself with coffee. Can't live without coffee
Had a minor panic. I'm trying to sell some tesco vouchers for the first time and my auction ends in less than 5hrs. The top bid only just made the same amount as the vouchers and I'd lose money once I posted the deals out! Finally someone put in enough so that I'll not lose money......Soooo crossing fingers that someone bids it higher.
Kitten now climbing stairs AND able to go downstairs. Gosh he moves fast. I thought I'd have another week to kitten-proof the house but I think I've left it too late already :rotfl: It was cute yesterday. He was crying a different sound and trying desperately to climb chair. Couldn't work out what was up so put him on chair. Realised he was trying to tell me he wanted to get to his litter tray which was up a level! Arrgh. My boy is growing up!
Was going to replant containers outside the back door today but the neighbour who shares the courtyard is home doing stuff outside so think I'll do something else. Maybe the allotment since it's grey here, so I won't get sunburnt. Might take Finn with me to explore!
Hugs to Tashja and all that need them.
Scuzz Everyone has said sensible things but remember, sometimes if you love someone, you have to let them go. In the meantime don't make yourself sick with worry. If he loves you, he'd want you to take care of yourself. Eat, even if it's only a chicken or other protein salad. You deserve to look after yourself.0 -
((((((((((((((((Scuzz))))))))))))))))))))))
Sorry about this but DUMP HIM...........he is not doing you any good............
Dull morning here, waiting the get our new composter out of the storage cupboard at the apartment, will then nip to the allottment and put it in and plant up the tommies, pepper and courgette............
Nothing else planned for today, OH is doing another jigsaw he got yesterday, seems to be back to normal, he says he still gets the pain occasionally but as he knows what is causing it, he just puts up with it.
Hoping to visit my friend this weekend, have not seen her for quite a while.....Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Morning all, dull here but warm.
First time posting in this thread
A spot of housework up stairs is called for today, OH is decorating on the landing and is rubbing down the paint work so we now have green dust everywhere :rotfl:
I'm also on a mission to buy cakes for OH to take to work, they have cakes on their Birthdays. His Birthday was last Monday but he's taking them in tomorrow as everyone is there tomorrow.
I have to buy 12 cakes and a Ripple for the receptionist who dosn't eat cream cakes.
I know I should make them, but they all take in cream cakes
Gosh, what an exciting time I have of italthough, I guess I'll get the points at Mr T's
Also need to make cakes - fairy cakes this time, the sponge cake version never rises for me so I make fairy cakes instead
Have a good Thursday all.0 -

Been stabbed in the back by my friend big time. Gone well out of order so very angry right nowComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
tinkerbelluk - loved the pics of HRH! but where are you in the pics?? hows things goingwith OH now?
Shez,
I'm not in the pictures but there are ones with me in but I won't post them in case people who I work with realise who I am on here
In all honesty things with OH are going OK, we're talking alot more and he's getting better about being more forward with doing things and making decissions. He says he know's he's no where near where we need to be but baby steps seem to be working.
Also he's making a real effort to tackle things that he may be concerned about for example asking me we're you annoyed with me this morning as I felt like you were. I can then either say no and I'm sorry it came across like I was or yes, because of xyz and then we talk about it.
Also working slowly through the books I got from Amazon so we're going to try to put some of those suggestions into practice.
As I said I know I love him and I love being with him the problem is I think i'm not in love with him IYKWIM so I think we just need to work together to see if we can get that spark back.
Sorry for waffling onYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Morning all.
Dull and overcast here today in South Yorkshire, but we have had a good run.
Yesterday I discovered that 4 very nice hanging baskets had walked from my garden ... and then I saw that the neighbour had one just like mine now hanging by her back door. I nipped around to see if she'd noticed anyone hanging around while I was away, and she said she hadn't but that her boyfriend had given her the new basket ... hmm, I don't have any proof but it wouldn't surprise me if I saw 3 more identical baskets around at her boyfriend's. I am sooo cross.
Similar thing happened at work. I have a sweetie jar for visitors that was empty before I went away and waiting for new sweeties from Greece. But when I went back - to my own, personal office, by the way - the sweetie jar had walked ... grrr.
Was going to dump the boyfriend last night but he stood me up then beat me to it. Once I got over the initial annoyance, I was actually VERY RELIEVED. Scuzz: If someone's not right for you, they're not doing you any good. When my last b/f walked out suddenly, without warning, I too couldn't eat and dropped down to such a skinny weight that friends were referring to me as a bag of bones. It's hard, but they're not worth it when they can do that to you. !!!!{HUGS}}} though, I know you'll need them.
Study day at home for me today, then a friend's coming over to do some pc maintenance for me tonight.
Have good days.
EDIT: Oh, and the kitten has taking to peeing in the bathroom sink ... yes, really. How do I retrain her to use the toilet ...?spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -

So sorry to hear that! Aren't people awaful sometimes? Just take comfort in "what goes around comes around". It may take a while but I bet the thief will have something bad happen to him! You hadn't taken any photos of the baskets beforehand had you? Just that the police might be helpful if you did.0 -
They were empty, waiting for strawberry plants ... and now I have to fork out for more.
