It was I who used the gluten free flour which worked a treat. Mr T has just started selling s.r. gluten free flour which makes life even easier as I don;t have to guess how much baking powder to add. I make them with that and honey and could easily add less sugar for my oh.
I have to say these days the gluten free flour is so good the kids never notice the difference. I have given up on wheatflour altogether now. I know it is more expensive but makes life so much easier.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Billieboy and jtb glad the biscuits are going down well, remember there are lots of variations to keep you going and if you want to use treacle and dried ginger as i am doing just now the treacle is still 28p a tin in Asda
Grandma Pat its nice to see the grandchildren are enjoying them and Alex is sure to have boundless energy at scout camp with a rucksack full of them0 -
I am making a batch of Twink's Hobnobs (yes I know what time it is!), my second attempt as first turned into flat flapjack type stuff, still yummy tho. Think the problem was not a big enough tray (even tho I halved the mix) so have put less in, unfortunately the mixture was very tempting and may have accidentally eaten some:rolleyes: oops
