Ollie i think the nearest thing to homebargains with us would be poundland though they are about forty miles from us

Charleybabes did the hobnobs cut okay when they were in the sandwich tin?

Gonna make these today, and use my heart shaped cutter so they are valentine's day themed!

Anybody tried using muscadavo sugar? It's lying at the back of the cupboard so I may split it 50/50 with normal sugar.

Ok so the heart shaped thing won't work that easily but I do have a dozen in the oven which I have forced into a heart shape! I've used 4oz of light muscadavo and 4oz of sugar. On reflection I think this might make them very sticky, but I will let you know how it goes.

Please help me stop eating the raw mixture!!!!!

Waddy i think if you roll out the hobnobs you need to do it between silicone paper, i dont bother myself, but i am sure your other half will be delighted with the biscuits whether they were heart shaped or not ;)

havent used brown sugar myself so let us know how they turn out

They've come out ok, I think using brown sugar has made them a bit sweeter. Always have had a sweet tooth.
