thank you everyone especially Twinks for this receipe. Ive just made a half batch in anticipation for friends coming round tomorrow and they are gorgeous. i mixed some chocolate chips right in at the end as well and they are delicious. need to get more oats as i only had 4oz so it was an easy choice to make for doing half a batch.
will be a future biscuit tin staple me thinks :jDebt free 3 years early :j

Hi there, as I work in grams rather than oz can anyone advise what Twinks recipe would be? If it could be added in to page 1 it might be others would find it of benefit too.. thank you! xMFW #185

OK, was planning on making some of these but have run out of bicarb... will it be a disaster if I leave it out? It's a 10 minute walk to the shop and it's raining!0

Thanks Twink and thank you for adding it to page 1 - just wondering if anyone has sucessfully made this recipe with less than 225g / 8oz of margarine or butter? I can see this is the wrong time for me to try and eat better with a delicious recipe like this!MFW #185
