THANK YOU Twinkthey disappeared quicker than anything I've made before! My sis had about 8 of them in a row (I had 6!) although they were small but still waaayyyy too tasty.
they can be done as a traybake too and if you look back the posts there are lots of variations like adding dried cranberrys, using honey instead of syrup etc, glad you enjoyed them0 -
I have made about 3 batches now over the last 2 weeks, have to hide them or they disappear in a day. Took some into work and they had all gone by 10am. Have passed on 4 copies of the recipe. thanks for the recipe they are so easy to make and delicious.0

Hullo
, i've frozen homemade biscuits before and used them for lunches (and to stop me eatting the lot in one go). Never had a problem with them. I tend to take them out in the morning when i need them, pop in a waxed type bag or plastic tub and by lunch (sometimes by midmorning snack time) they are defrosted.

(Oh, right. That's what you're talking about. Don't mind me. Was just intrigued and puzzled by the title. It has nothing to do with Prince Philip's jewels.)0

The home made hobnobs on here-the famous twinks freeze well cooked. But I find the work uncooked as well. I freeze them in the dough balls you make before cooking and then cook them from frozen.
Mind you I forget to defrost stuff overnight so this means I can cook them fresh in the morning, lovely baking smell in the morning lol.

But the Queen is HM and that is how I read it (that is, that they are her hobnobs.) But thinking about it again I really don't want to start thinking about it too closely.0
