Hey just made these for the first time tonight.... its the first i have done any baking in over two years and the first time anything has turned out edible!!!!
They are currently cooling... althought 4 have already been eaten whilst still warm

Well thank you so so so much for this recipe Twink. these are the first biscuits i have eaten in years i cant eat artificial sweeteners etc so most biscuits are a no go for me. But i have just eaten three hob knobs and i am waiting on the kettle to boil to give me an excuse for more. gotta go lolslowly going nuts at the world:T0

glad you enjoyed the hobnobs, you can reduce the sugar a bit if they are too sweet for you0 -
I do that (reduce the sugar). I had (past tense) 24 cooling on the rack but I reckon the starlings have come in through the kitchen door and scoffed 4. I've made these a ton of times now. We've dropped the hobnob part. lol i should have called myself a more biscuity sounding name, you need to keep that kitchen door shut and keep that starlings out0 -
Well Twink I have to say they are my all time favourite biscuit. Make double the batch each time. They don't last very long xAlthough I get lonely :shocked: as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:

Thanks for the recipe. Just got round to trying it today - I am not a confident cook but these are just so easy and taste delicious!!! I dont think they will make it through the night.!0
