You know Twink, my mum hadn't baked for years, but when she came to stay last, I'd made some and she liked them so much, she asked me for the recipe.

The first time she made them, she rang me up all excited, to tell me they were in the oven!

Thank you so much for posting the recipe. :)

my pleasure Gigervamp, i wonder if the shop bought hobnobs are still selling? :D
  • i had made some biscuits but had run out of room on the baking tray, and this is how i made an amazing discovery.

the left over mixture had dried out a bit and wasn't makig nice shaped patties, so instead of wasting it i opened a tin of apple and blackberry fruits ive had on standby in the cupboard.
i put the mixture over the fruit and cooked in the oven for 15 minutes.

it was the best crumble topping i've ever had!!:j

i've had trouble not scoffing the lot.

i havent used the mix as a crumble before but i have crumbled biscuits into yoghurt but will give it a go, i suppose the mix could be frozen in bags ready to put on fruit

i have used honey in the past which was nice but not with syrup too, were they not too sweet?

    Hi Twink.

I made your hobnobs (or hobanobs as DD calls them) for the first time yesterday and they are fantastic. Thank you very much.

Hope you don't mind me asking but how do you store them?
