lol i love em too they last about 2 days in our house and theres only me hubby and daughter needless to say our waists are expanding
this monring i had some lemons left so i made lemon scones whoops lol0 -
They are lovely.
I've lerned to make them fairly small and thick but with loads of room to spread. You can get a good 20 or so biscuits out of them this way.Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130 -

thanks everyone for the kind words but you do know the recipe says you get 60 biscuits from the mix
i get about 45-50

Although they taste fab mine turned out a bit harder than I was expecting. Any ideas as to how I could make them a bit softer? Should I just add more syrup?
(However I did find that they practically melt when I dip them in my tea! Yum!)

take the hobnobs out of the oven a bit sooner next time and they should be softer, timing is approx as everyones cookers are different, glad you liked them0 -
My first batch were lovely and soft (not quite hobnobs tho!)-i think i made my balls too big pardon the pun!!!so maybe try bigger balls!This time did little ones and they were crunchy and delicious-xmas bags here we come!cheers twinks0
