But the price was higher that's what i thought is the problem with the price.

I understand that but you also took it off the market for a while, it is clear from the zoopla stats that it has been viewed on the websit over 400 times but only a small portion of those times at its present price!

you didn't answer the Rightmove question.

sadly I think no viewings means you still have the price wrong but wait it out to see if that's true!

Because when it was 99k no one was interested then i dropped to 95k then no interest again. so i said let me change the agent it might help. that was the reason. the house is right move as well. the post code is wf127tq. Thanks

I wouldn't be too worried about the house reappearing on RM with a reduced price. Especially as the house hasn't been SSTC at any point.

My sister is trying to sell in a 'slow' area - at best she is getting 1 to 2 viewings a month. I think that is just the way it is in many parts of the UK at the moment.

You just need to be patient - or if it is possible/necessary - price to sell quickly.

didn't see you had answered the Rightmove question, as the last poster says most people only use Rightmove, though I like the zoopla stats

For some reason I'm always suspicious of listings that don't show the exterior of the property first (especially houses), but that's just me. I feel they're trying to lure me in with a nice interior when the outside of the place is ugly as sin.

While yours doesn't quite fall into that category, you could increase the kerb appeal a little - as well as the hanging baskets, how about a few pot plants under the kitchen window? And perhaps drag next door's wheely bin and recycling box out of the way too?!?

There is a floor plan on the Rightmove link. I don't think the house is too small. The second bedroom is a decent size and the main bedroom has lovely fitted wardrobes.

Think it might just be a case of very warm weather and people too lethargic to house hunt plus school holidays about to start. Give it some time.

Yes, you could 'tart up' the front and back with some pots of flowers - could you freecycle for a table and chairs for the patio area? But not that important.

Just one question. Do you have an alleyway at the side of your house? Are they sheds at the side? Might put some people off.

I've spent the last week living on the cool side of the house and staying out of the sun. Maybe buyers in your area are doing the same.
  • The house itself is well presented. It can only be the price or the fact everyone is on holiday. Have you tried advertising it yourself on PropertyHeads.com, HouseNetwork.co.uk or somethign similar? Check the contract with your estate agent first though to make sure you're allowed. Oh and just an after thought maybe it's your agent turning off potential buyers?
  • HouseSimple they are really good to response. the review they have compare to local agents are much much better. Their response time very quick and they are very friendly. I have been with local agents and i will not recommend to go with them.

On image nine showing the front of the property it looks like a path at the side with several wheelie bins to the side of your house. I don't know if I'm looking at it wrong but it appears that other people park their bins by your house. If I'm wrong change the picture.
    It's someone else's fault.
  • Yes i have path of the side of the property and yes the shed is on the side. Thanks
