CSA probs again

Exactly, it is so easy to get obsessed with it, I know I am!

What I really dont understand is why they need another month, that is approximately 160 hours, to make a decision, how can it possibly take that long?? they have all the info, they have been looking into it for months so what is there to decide, yes or no, that doesnt take 160 hours surely to goodness. Maybe it will take them that long to count out all the lovely pennies they will be paying me lol!

As for my MP and her assistant, once this is all sorted out, I will be telling them exactly what I think of their attitudes, I have found the assistant at best extremely disinterested , at worst downright rude, they again have no concept of what it is like to wait, day after day after week after month to find out when you are going to get YOUR money. Unbelievable that we are paying their wages!

Anyway, rant over, deep breaths, enjoy your reunion and I hope you get some good news soon, very soon

another update, I feel like this is taking over my life!

My MP received a reply to her letter to the Minister, the reply came from :: No personal details please - MSE FT ::, head of client relations, and basically was 2 pages of nothing, the first page was all the information I had previously told them, what i thought they had done wrong etc It said things like "Miss F thinks that the CSA didnt take timely action, Miss F says that a charging order should have been applied in 2005" etc etc. the next page just confirmed amounts owed, the details of the liabilty order and the fact that bailiffs are trying to take action, I was told by the CSA that the case had been handed back to them as the bailiffs could get nowhere, but this letter states that the bailiffs are having another go as they have had a new address! that is wrong as my ex has lived at the same address all the way through! It also says they are considering my request for financial redress and i will have a reply by 17th August ( I was told the week before that i would have a decision by 6th September!) SO all in all, the letter that has taken 5 months to come, doesnt actually tell me any new information at all, although it does admit their mistakes!

re the newspaper article, i have told my story and it will be appearing soon, eek! They sent a photographer and everything, was very scary but i am glad I did it. watch this space!

God they are a disgrace. It really irritates me when my OH get prison threats despite paying (and his ex wife calling to confirm she's seen his bank statements proving so) yet these b*****ds who won't pay for there own children just get away with it. It seems all the CSA do is waste time chasing innocent men who want to pay for their kids and are already doing so.

I did the article for the Mirror in the end, and it is in the paper today, only short but to the point. And no, i didnt get paid for it!

page 36, dont get too excited, it is very short. And if you dont want to waste 40p, you can read it online, although the picture of me isnt on the online version, depends how nosey you want to be! at the end of the day, I didnt say anything that isnt true and also the children are on holiday abroad this week with their grandparents, so wont see it and be embarassed by me!

I got the mirror and read the article concerning the CSA but was very disappointed that they did not make more emphasis on the fact that there are so many mistakes made and so many people suffering at the hands of them. Your piece was the only one and although very good the article on a whole didn't give the full extent of the problems we are all having.

I totally agree, i talked for about half an hour altogether (not difficult for me) and said many many things which they didnt put in the article, about how rubbish the CSA are, how they dont call you back, how they never update you etc etc, I could have gone on for another half an hour too. I also said quite a lot about my ex which obviously they cant put in due to libel.

Wow!! what a mirror you have Kelloggs, I normally see myself when I look in the mirror, and believe me it's not a pretty sight!!!!!!!!!!
